[b]Personality:[/b] Cool and detached there should be no underestimating his intelligence or his thirst for power. His sway over the King is not absolute but is of significant enough weight that many fear another war. He is not a man who likes to waste his time or his efforts and looks poorly upon those who do. While he harbors no love for the Prince both Publicly or otherwise he still works with him regularly to make sure the proper upbringing to the King's desires. He is a voice of reason at times and has helped the King avoid war with his neighbours since the death of his son but he has his own plans and agendas. 
[b]Reputation:[/b] it is not unlikely he got to where he was by trickery and deceit but the truth is he does a good job, he is in charge of the taxes and while he'd prefer to tax the people harder he is aware of their limitations. People wonder if he is human at times due to the way he thinks of people merely as pieces in a chess game.
