Depends on the genre. Anything fantasy based with fighting I listen to rock, alternative and jrock.
Romance I listen to paramore, the neighbourhood, hey ocean.

I find the RWBY soundtracks have a mix of sounds that I enjoy. Monstercat artists also uses a variety of sounds which fits the mood.
