I listen to a mix of music, but since I usually find myself writing large battles (I mostly do NRPs), I usually listen to something by Sabaton. They're a Swedish power metal band that has written songs about multiple major battles, so it's perfect for the situation.

In the rare occasion that what I'm writing doesn't involve a battle, I'll usually listen to something by Thomas Bergersen. There's always something of his that fits the situation.
