Huh, I'll generally have Friends playing in the background minimised, whatever I'm doing (writing or gaming or whatever), rarely listen to music unless I'm walking somewhere, very rarely when writing. When I do I only listen to heavy melodic/folk/foreign metal songs, I hate lyrics that I can understand - ruins music for me. 


I'm an odd one I guess.
