Shu was nearly hopping out of his skin over food, and if they didn't feed him soon he just might. By some miracle the little guy was actually settling down some at the table, even if he was still clearly not totally relaxed. Takeshi wasn't relaxed either, though that was mostly because he'd managed to upset the Queen within 10 seconds of showing up. Speaking of miracles it would be miraculous if he managed to get out of dinner without getting smacked by someone. Taking his spot beside his little brother Takeshi smiled apologetically, looking immediately to the food as it was brought out. Initially he wasn't all that enthusiastic, but hearing that some meats had been prepared for them made his eyes light up. Now it wasn't just Shu that was all giddy for supper, though both of them was going to have to wait for T'charrl to serve himself. Seemed fair enough, it was the guy's first night home after traveling around and all. Waiting patiently for T'charrl to get what he wanted Takeshi helped himself quickly to some meat, a few sides of fruit and what looked like some kind of bread. Satisfied with his arrangement of food he licked his lips eagerly, rubbing his hands together as he debated on what to start with. This was an awful lot of food, way more than Haku was used to seeing. Normally when in the Saiyan ships he got a single plate, and it wasn't typically as much as T'charrl had even. Even back on Earth he rarely had such a feast, now he was all excited at the chance to really chow down. Letting the others get their own helpings of food first he smiled eagerly, grabbing himself a mix of everything he could fit on his plate before figuring he should leave some for the others too. Glancing down the table he looked at the Queen curiously, averting his eyes as he bowed his head a little, "Uh... Thank you for the food, miss..." he mumbled, not wholly sure how to address her. If she was a stickler then she probably wanted to hear something along the lines of 'Your Majesty', yet when he looked back she seemed fine with just 'miss'. Relieved to be in the clear he figured it was okay to eat now, going first for an odd looking purple fruit. At least he thought it was a fruit; squishy to the touch and really smooth, it wasn't anything like he'd ever had before. Sniffing at it he took a tentative bite, eyes widening and lips puckering in surprise at finding it was quite tart. Not wanting to seem rude he wasn't going to spit it out, not that he was going to enjoy it. Swallowing back the morsel he shivered slightly, going for something else instead. Yumi stuck out her tongue childishly at Viral, letting out a light laugh after in response to his criticizing her. She certainly didn't take what he was saying to heart, not when she was sure it was his stress talking. So long as she maintained a positive attitude maybe some would rub off on Viral and improve his outlook, even if only marginally. This was such a nice change of pace for them, getting to do whatever they wanted with no sense of haste; Viral's condition warranted haste, but that aside they were free to do as they pleased. "Well... You're technically leading us now, aren't you?" Yumi asked, looking over to her friend with a smile, "You're deciding what the three of us do and we're coming along, so technically you're leading. And who's to say once you're healthy you won't be leading us places? I'd for one be happy to follow you." Yumi was going to get a little silly here, hoping that perhaps acting lighthearted might do some good for the Beastman. More likely than not he was only going to become confused or off put, but she wouldn't know until she tried. Sitting up straight she struck a casual-military pose, her hand straight over her brow as she adopted a serious expression. "Commander Viral, I would follow you to the edges of the universe, sir! I'll also gladly make you yummy food whenever we eat!"
