The food was really good as it turned out, at least the meats were. While he had meat on his plate Takeshi was almost reluctant to go for any of the fruit; there wasn't a whole ton of meat prepared though, so unless he was going to be selfish and take it all he'd have to share. One nice thing about waiting to take his food was that he could gauge the others' reactions and figure out just how some of the stuff might take. Not so much Shu, he was eating everything he could get his hands on, but maybe Haku. Glancing over casually at the other boy Takeshi had to cover his mouth to stifle a laugh seeing him try the purple fruit, making a mental note to avoid that. No problem, he'd just stick to everything else then! Sticking a slab of meat with his fork he popped it in its entirety into his mouth, smiling contently as he began chewing it up. Just to his side there was Shu munching away like no tomorrow, and he might well be saying something if he wasn't too focused on chowing down himself. Besides, if it was really bad the Queen would say something, maybe even hit Shu. An awful thing to wish on the little guy, but when you were the one always getting smacked and yelled at you almost wanted someone else to get it for a change. Maybe it wasn't the idyllic family meal, what with the Saiyans eating like they were borderline starving, but she was glad T'charrl was here nonetheless. In stark contrast to their young guests Eslaria was taking her time with her food, cutting it apart and chewing up bit by bit. It was delicious, yes, which mean all the more reason to slowly savor it rather than engorge oneself. If this was how those boys typically ate she shuddered to think just how much they might go through in a single sitting normally. Watching the three of them with a bit of curiosity for a moment she glanced over to T'charrl after a moment, smiling in his direction. "You made it back home, and you're better than you were so yes, not too bad. Considering what you probably went through while traveling I'd say you did an exceptional job my dear." Not only had the Prince left on less than savory standing but he'd done something no one of their race had ever done before, and he returned better for it. To say he was accomplished and well of all things considered was an understatement, it really was a monumental feat. "I have to ask, if it's alright, what was your favorite world to visit? What was it like?" Eslaria asked, smiling as she leaned forward slightly in her seat, "Your father and I have been trying to imagine what it was like, but I'm afraid we're not all that creative." Perhaps being a little silly wasn't the way to go about this. Viral wasn't appreciating the attempt at lighthearted conversation at all and almost seemed to even be getting fed up with it. Okay, maybe she'd be more serious, if only to keep from agitating her friend. "Do you not want people calling you commander? Or do you just think no one will?" Yumi asked curiously, tilting her head some, "I think you could be a commander if you really wanted to be. Maybe it would be for the rebellion, people I know you don't really like, but you'd have a position again. And once you feel all better I really can't imagine anything keeping Korian from offering you a position like that." Viral was a good fighter when healthy, and he had a mind for strategy. Someone like that was special, and it would help that he had experience fighting the Saiyans as well. The biggest problem really facing the Beastman in getting any kind of position would be his past with the rebels, and whether or not they were really open to him or not. Contemplating her friend's complaints for a moment Yumi pulled her knees up to her chest, laying her chin on them as she wrapped her arms around her legs. "What you want to be... Well it really is up to you," she reiterated, glancing at the vent of energy lazily. "Maybe at first you were made just to help with Vegeta, and maybe that part is over now. But that doesn't mean you can't find something else to do, and that something else can be whatever you want. It doesn't matter much where you came from, you're still your own person and the master of your own life." Looking at Viral she gave a warm smile, laughing briefly before gesturing to herself. "Of course, if you really want to I could always use some help! I'd love to have someone with me to kick butt with all the time."
