Lord Commander Damon Farrow
Damon was getting pretty annoyed at this point. "Suddenly this army grunt is a master strategist?" he said over his shoulder with a hint of spite in his voice. "I could probably double the guards without any notice as it stands. Its not like they in the council consider me at all, other then as a nuisance..." he muttered the last part "My point, little miss gun!, is that I don't have enough guards to fight off the kingdom, I doubt my men could take on even the city guard, despite their skill, the numbers are simply not in my favor." With this he spat at his feet, in her direction, muttering "I will not have a commoner with no rank order me about!" before saying, in a more audible voice, "Why don't we listen to the Knight Lieutenant, who has earned her high rank, sometimes there is not time for such subtleties. I'm sure she have thought deeply about this." At this point he finally turned the face the insolent soldier and looked her square in the eyes, his body tensing. "I just want you to know, if you plan on undermining authority then we will achieve nothing. As a soldier you should surely know the importance of order, discipline and rank, even if you, madam, appear to have none of those a fore mentioned mentioned skill sets." Damon was painfully aware that his aggression and displeasure was clearly visible but he was also aware, more so, that what was at stake was the lives of all those before him, the leader he respects so thoroughly and the future of the entire kingdom. No rebellious child would put them at jeopardy, he may not be able to command the city guard but, for now at least, he still had authority among them and would not hesitate to arrest the girl, anyone, even the Lieutenant if he thought it would protect his trusted friend and the kingdom he served.
