Only Walkins is from Varisie, the rest are cheap thugs pulled off the streets- which is why they're likely shitting themselves right now. And Walkins isn't really a token boss. We'll quite literally be seeing a lot more of him. Pierce didn't want to speak up because stealth- or at least attempted stealth.

Anyway, I will keep those suggestions and ideas in mind next time I prepare to write a major plot point.
