I'm in agreement with North on the reading through the roleplay, and whats happened so far, as this will give you both a sense of whats happening but an insight to other characters as well, whilst the general stuff can be easily summed up you will be missing out on a lot of other important information that would be required to play well in this RP.

On the note of "The jack of all trades" this is something I don't think would be prudent to start with, however you can very well achieve that later on in the roleplay, at the minute my own character Valerion was proven himself to be... shall we say powerful in one respect. But that is only because others are yet to show their potential, or a situation is yet to arise in which they may become a powerful ally/opponent or flaunt their own power; if that is their wish.

So basically, if you want to put the time and effort into this, read through the IC and look through the characters, then you can get a sense of where you may want to stand.
