Abilities*: James cannot use normal magics, but for some reason magical or enchanted items seem to activate just from him coming into contact with them, and not only do they activate, but they seem to be enhanced by his touch. This includes Magic Books, other peoples' Grimoires(if he has permission from them to touch the grimoire), and the texts within Tomes, among many other artifacts, including those that require someone to imbue their own magic them to keep them powered.
How you could work in a team: James can fill a variety of roles, depending on the what magical item he comes into contact with.
Personality (You can keep it short if you wish)*: James is very quiet and mysterious, only talking when he finds it necessary, and trying to not socialize with others. He's also kind of embarrassed that he can't use normal magic, and doesn't like showing his abilities to others because even others with magic abilities find it strange.
