[i]Must[/i] Ventu be the first? [i]Must[/i] he be the creator of humanity? Humanity doesn't even necessarily have to be the first mortal race. If we're going by Greek/Persian myth, the world should be full of nymphs, satyrs, centaurs, giants, daevas, sphinxes, sirens and so on.

...Yes? "Lasting" in Arkho's perspective is probably very different from any other perspective. Aroesus was useful for the stability he brought for a time, but now his usefulness is spent.
