I'm just gonna say it, cause it might not have been clear 'cause I'm a bad writer, but Marcel's whole mental spiel on living in the woods may or may not have been genuine, he probably wouldn't go live on his own. Tried to play into his whole "finding his identity as a man" thing; probably have a few more of those fantastical episodes down the road. 

But the horse thing was genuine. Giff horse.
