I wouldn't find it that weird to have a book as a weapon, since I'm guessing your character won't be in the front lines with her weakness to physical attacks. A book would be be more useful then a sword or axe with her.

If anybody else joins I would request to abstain from making male characters for a short time until the numbers even out a bit! And I shall put up a Arcana List later today.
