I like the Flash idea but am kinda iffy on the Red Hood idea. Of course if you were to be Walley West he would have to be the first Flash. I'm not saying don't be the Red Hood but you would have to make him his own character with nothing to do with Batman. This is because James Todd was as you know Robin first, and since heroes (including Batman) have only been around for about a month or so that gives us a continuity problem before we even start. However, if you can make him his own person away from Batman I have absolutely no problem with it!

Though, given what you have said, probably going to turn away from James for the moment. Or not, who knows. I'll just have to put a few ideas into my thinking cap and see what works.[/color]
