Jessica was about to respond to Jasmine when she heard Sam's comments on the subject of school. She sat down the bag she had been carrying and walked over to where Sam was sitting and took a seat across from the girl. Looking at Sam, Jessica replied, "There's more to life than fighting monsters and magic. Girls should go to school, even if they have magic and obligations to protect others. Its your obligation to yourself to have an education." Jessica stood up, but before turning to walk over and retrieve the bag, said, "After all, knowledge is power." She smiled at Sam, turned away, and moved back across the room to retrieve the bag.
