Sam glanced up, if only for a second, when Jessica sat down opposite to her. She admired how calm Jessia was as she spoke. If Sam had spoken like she had to either of her parents, they would have gotten upset, but Jessica took it all in her stride. Never raising her voice, never showing shock, just calmly voicing her opinions.

The same could not be said of Sam's [i]other[/i] teammate.

[i]"Are...are you saying that you don't still go to school? How are you getting away with it?"[/i] Jasmine's cries of shock were almost amusing to Sam.

She turned her attention back to her book and turned another page. "My parents don't even know I'm here, let alone that I'm not going to school anymore," Sam said. "The minute I heard that Rome was brimming with magical girl and Error activity, as well as making contact with you guys veer ErrorNet and the necessary arrangements with Jessica as to where I would be living, I came straight here." She glanced up at Jasmine with a raised eyebrow. "I'm surprised you never noticed."
