Caligetta waved the waitress over and asked for a slice of chocolate cake. Nothing as elaborate as Adalina was eating though. She had to draw the line somewhere before her meal became far too frou-frou and stopped embodying everything she personally held dear, at least she claimed. Of course, it didn't help that things were already awkward and that she was not in the mood to push her luck at this point.
"Are we planning to get any work done at all overnight? We could definitely do some 'assignments,' but if you're looking for fun and relaxation I'd understand. It might be just as well. I can barely sit down with all the riding I've been doing lately," Caligetta asked conversationally.
