I can see there being a few storage of weapons around the city which they would use. 


My idea for the hunters would  be for them not to try to capture the demons or kill them. Because their prison is in ruins and their guild burned. So it true there is no where to put the demons XD They plans are to sho the demons away so to scare the general public into giving them the funds they want. The demons attacking is the only thing stopping the regular forces of order to arrest all the hunters. XD The hunters leaders are aware of that and want to ensure their own surviving over the one of some people dying.

I secretly hoped some more people would pick humans or human hunters so the plot of the rotten hunter guild could be played out too. Maybe the guild falling apart in two and such^^

Still back on topic, You can assume the hunters would patiently sit and wait while the city is chaos waiting for the leading people of the city to beg for them to help, with the demon problem. One can too assume normal guards attempting to fight the demons and getting murdered easily  off, too.
