Fredrick was bouncing on the heels of his feet looking increasingly nervous with each passing second. "Remember that missing person rumor on Facebook?" His eyes flitted across the room, it was an empty, old house that smelled of dust and decay. The windows and all the furniture were caked with dirt and dust, and cobwebs clung to the ceiling like spidery fingers that refused to let go. It didn't help that it was raining cats and dogs, the occult club was stranded. Well, they could always brave the thunderstorm outside but getting zapped and soaked to the bone didn't sound very appealing. "Robert Brown was seen here a few days ago." Anna shivered as a light breeze whipped at the window. "Brown? He disappeared, a month ago." "Yeah, exactly!" Freddy's eyes flitted from the shivering Anna to Mori. "That's what makes it so weird, y'know. He's been gone for a month and suddenly--" The boy slammed a fist into his open palm, "bam, he makes an appearance and here of all places. Don't you think it's weird, Mori? Like really, really, supernatural weird?" A flash of lightning tore through the night sky before the loud roaring of Thunder filled the room. Freddy practically leaped into Mori's arms while Anna wrapped her arms around herself and sat down on the couch anxiously. "M-M-Maybe we should just run back to my place." Freddy's teeth were chattering. "Mom and dad aren't around, I can lend you guys one of mom's nightgowns?" "Freddy's right..." Anna didn't like the house at all. "Mori?" She asked quietly before waiting for a response. Friday, Aislyn, and a haunted house sounded like trouble and collateral damage, so he made sure to show up in a raincoat and with his sternest expression. "I can't believe you two. This is childish and irresponsible, and it's a school night." Flynn stood by the door and crossed his hands over his chest. Aislyn parked her bike by the door and laughed. "Well, you're here, so you might as well come along. Anyways, there's no way I'm backing down. Friday dared me, and it's a matter of pride and honor." Flynn rolled his eyes and Aislyn gave him a goofy grin. "Anyways, it's a dare, can't back down now or Friday wins." "Doesn't matter if it's a dare or not...it's, frankly, it's kind of silly." Flynn tried to look like an upset older brother but Aislyn punched him playfully in the shoulder and soon he was shaking his head, but smiling. "Fine, I'll come along to make sure nothing dangerous happens."
