After the quick impact on the shield, Josia collapsed where she was, passing out and being forced to lay there helplessly. After the shield had shattered, their shape-shifting friend managed to swipe the scythe out of the way long enough for Naoto to pick up Josia, and jump away from their current position with Maosu. "Maosu, catch." Naoto yelled at her sibling, handing Josia over as Maosu protested. Maoso held Josia, but struggled from her small size and little strength.

He shot his hands forward, catching them in a gulf of flame, then smashing them into each other as he was ready to take on the demon himself... whether he would win or not....
