I pulled myself to my feet checking my watch at to best judge how much time I had before sunset. There was no watch...not now, at least. I wanted it more than you would think. I've never owned a watch before, and the sight of my old crystalline hand with the watches still on its wrist tempted me. I didn't want to make a go for it, the fight with...whoever the monster was that still continued to terrorize the all of not my problem being one of the dumbest things I had done in a very long time; picking fights with demons was a silly uphill battle which would only cost me my newfound freedom. Still...the other one was gone, I think? A faint sense of familiarity resonated with the now sleeping form. I wasn't about to excuse the possibility of a shape-shifter, and it was laying right next to my arm...my watches. Ugh~ ~~~~~~~~~ Keepa hesitated, peeking out at the carnage the other demon was wreaking upon the armored humans. A distraction enough, he darted out in his human form; the energy still processing, too weak from the fire spell to manage anything more. Quickly, he filched the decorative wristwear, glancing to the sleeping figure with psuedo-contemptful apathy, well aware of the events of less than a minute ago. Still, having managed the last fastening of the second watch, he looked back, imagining it might not be too unseemly for someone to... ~~~~~~~~~ What am I doing...he just attacked me. While I was trying to help, no less! I should just drain him dry and be done with it. Still, an answer would be nice. Attempting to do...well...anything with the figure proved fruitless as I couldn't even grasp them. I suppose my questions for the nameless ones would go unanswered. They disgusted me, being such a thorn in my side and, when it mattered, the only one of potential use reverting to such a vulnerable state. Wasting My Time... I slapped myself on my facecheeks with both hands to focus myself. 3:05 and 9:50...I shook my head lightly, doing my best to wake them as gently as reasonably possible while leaning over them. "Sir? Are you alright, sir?" I softly chirped, my expressions settling to genuine concern as I did what I could to rouse them from whatever slumber that had taken the fool. If they did not immediately wake, I would simply wash my hands of the issue.
