The sole reason Regina wanted to learn magic was to bring back the dead, which she still hasn’t been able to accomplish and has just settled down with the fact that even with magic, it isn’t possible. Her only limits include realm jumping without a magic bean (or other portal opener), forcing someone to fall in love and bringing back the dead. Regina’s favored magic abilities include those of the use of magic mirrors, a poisoned apple, disguising herself to look like someone else, taking people’s hearts and brewing potions for her own selfish reasons. Weapons: Regina doesn’t have any need for weapons, however she can be caught with a dagger from time to time when magic has failed her (usually hidden in one of her boots). She has the know-how and skill to wield a sword but is barely ever seen using this skill. She can also use her body and stunningly good looks as a weapon, should the opportunity arise. Skills: Regina is a born leader, able to run the small city of Storybrooke as Mayor confidently and smoothly, keeping Storybrooke flourishing and alive despite the town’s undying hatred towards her. She’s a skilled liar; able to deceive and manipulate people on a whim without them ever knowing and can easily turn the blame to others when caught in a situation. It also helps that she seems to have ‘eyes’ all over Storybrooke, enabling her to know just about everything everyone is up to at all times. Talents: Regina, in her spare time, enjoys landscaping her immaculate lawn of her mansion, both front and back, though she takes special pride in her apple tree growing out in the back. She’s also a decent cook, able to whip up most anything from scratch but her absolute forte is warm and flaky apple pies. She’s also been known to be quite the time in the bedroom. Strengths: Back in The Enchanted Forest, Regina is the Queen, and therefore has an entire army at her disposal and runs the entire kingdom. She has eyes and ears everywhere; not much goes on in the Enchanted Forest that she doesn’t know about. Her magic aptitude also keeps her on top, as very few can rival her power. A lot of this power carried over to Storybrooke where Regina is the Mayor. Everyone’s business is HER business. No one knows how she does it, but Regina knows what’s going on with everyone, everything, and all the time. She also has her own ways of getting what she wants if someone proves to be stubborn, since she controls the law enforcement. Simply put, you can’t breathe without Regina knowing about it. She has a very driving willpower to see to the end what she desires most, and will not stop unless she is forced to physically or by other means. Despite being ‘knocked down’ a great handful of times in her life, she always ‘gets back up on the horse’ and tries again. Also, even though Regina is a very powerful sorceress she is still human and can still bleed, therefore is weak to any normal status ailment or weapon (it’s just harder to injure her because she’s so magically protected). Any mention of Daniel or Snow White has her blood boiling, and her rage towards a blood war she had started so many years ago leaves her blind to the bigger picture; oftentimes leading to her temporary defeat. She also has a new soft spot in her heart for her adopted Son Mason, who she will do almost anything for his happiness. She IS the mayor after all and everyone within Storybrooke was brought here personally by her hand. Edric Liddell - Regina absolutely detests Henry Carlyle (she refuses to call him Edric, given she only knew him as Henry to begin with). Even though she had no clue as to who he was back in the Enchanted Forest or his persona as The Cheshire Cat, the simple fact that he came to Storybrooke to break the curse and is in cahoots with Mr. Gold gives her enough reason to want him dead. When the curse was still in effect, Regina had gone out of her way to keep him under her thumb, by means of threatening, sleeping with him, and manipulation however the little weasel managed to break though her watchful eye and bring an end to the curse anyway. As of right now, Regina isn’t sure if she detests Henry more than Snow or not, but the two are very high up on her list. Heather Jekyll - Regina finds the Head Doctor of Storybrooke... tolerable. She's a head strong woman though, and when she shows this strong side Regina can't help but to lash out and quickly put her back in her place. Aside from that, however, Faye keeps away from Regina and Regina has no cause to seek Faye out, until she recently discovered a secret about the doctor, a secret that nearly got her killed. Now very leery of Dr. Stevenson, Regina keeps her distance but an ever so close eye on her. The fact that she was revealed to be Henry Carlyle’s true love gives her a couple ideas on how to get back at Henry, but has yet to act on them. Evelyn Hyde - Regina had no idea that this woman even existed until it was almost too late. It became quite clear quite quickly that this mysterious woman wanted Regina dead; she still has the bruises on her neck to prove it. Regina won't admit it, but she has grown quite frightened of Evelyn Hyde as she seems to possess more strength than herself, even her diplomatic influence on the town can't rush in to save her from this... monster Regina’s magic has yet to help her against Evelyn. Ruby Lucas – Regina views Ruby Lucas as an annoying little tramp that's just taking up space in Storybrooke. Quite frankly, she’s glad that Ruby lost her memories for trying to cross the town line. The little skank deserved it. Granny - Just as annoying and pointless as her granddaughter, in Regina’s opinion. Perhaps her only redemption is the food she serves at her diner which Regina will go to from time to time, though Regina may have confronted Granny about the dress code of a certain waitress on a number of occasions especially now since Mason is almost always at her side. Knox Kowalski - If he weren't always so broody all the time, Regina might have tried to get to know him a bit better. He's handsome to boot, but has little use for him anywhere else now that her plan to try to keep Snow and Charming from each other by ‘marrying’ Knox and Mary Margaret was thwarted. Frankly, she’s glad he didn’t come back to Storybrooke with the others. He just took up space anyway. Belle – Regina will never forgive Robert for letting lose her scapegoat. Belle was to be imprisoned for a while longer, used only when she could hurt Mr. Gold the most. Now that the two are reunited and with a knowledge of what had happened, she only wishes she would have killed Belle when she had the chance. Back in The Enchanted Forest, Regina snatched Belle away shortly after she was turned into a beast and killed her new husband, Gaston. She saw right through that marriage, knowing where her true love truly lied which she wanted to use to her advantage. Manipulating Rumpelstiltskin into imprisoning himself in a magical prison she crushed Belle’s heart in front of him to see him crumble at her feet before enacting the curse. Of course, this wasn’t the real Belle, only an illusion. She had planned on holding onto the real Belle just a bit longer, keeping her in a basement asylum for five years with her memories intact with only herself to talk to. Her plan failed, however, when Robert got his memories back before the curse was lifted, and now with Rumpel and Belle reunited, she has nothing left on the Pawnbroker; save for maybe a small bit of information that even he doesn’t know she knows about. Her origin of becoming the beast. It was Regina who delivered Rumpelstiltskin’s enchanted rose hair pin to Belle (under a disguise as an old woman) that keeps Belle from changing, after all. Mark Dufresne - Regina doesn't speak with Mark all too often. They used to be practically strangers on the street until one day she found out that Mark was Mason’s real father. She finds little to no significance in him otherwise as she can't even think about who he was back in The Enchanted Forest but that means little to her. Mark Dufresne is a threat to her happiness with Mason, and she will do whatever it takes to put the firefighter in his place: away from Mason. Now with her magic back, she revels in toying around with him, like predator playing with its prey before going in for the kill. Mr. Gold – Regina has nothing short of absolute detestation for the man. She loves to hate Mr. Gold, and once Snow White's demise is certain she'd be more than happy to shift her focus onto his utter downfall (though her temper has gotten the better of her a few times in which she has tried to do so already, like with Belle). She would never get rid of him for good, however, he is far too useful as a person, but Gods does she love watching him squirm. Their relationship spans out across a number of many years. He had come to her as Rumpelstiltskin, had trained her in magic, gave her the curse to cast her own happy ending, and now she strives to become more powerful than him. It's a constant battle of wits between the two of them, however Regina almost always comes up just a tad short against the Pawnbroker Imp, and she's aiming to fix that. Mason Mills - Perhaps the only thing in Regina's life that makes it worth living for once she realized that the curse would be broken and Snow White would get her happy ending back. In an otherwise lonely life, Mason has brought light to her world and helped her to love again. Now her adoptive son, it is as if he were her very own, the bond they share like a true mother and son and she wouldn't have it any other way. She is by means exceptionally overprotective of him, especially when Mark Dufresne (who is the boy’s real father) is around, and will stop at nothing to keep his happiness with her. Snow White - Frankly, the woman should be dead. Regina has had so many chances to do just that, end the miserable life on the very person that destroyed her own, but Regina's sense of vengeance and wanting others to suffer has always won out, keeping a cursed version of Snow White alive simply to watch her suffer during the time of the curse. Now with Snow awake, reunited with Charming and the curse broken, Regina is unsure of what to do next; she never believed that it would get this far but she has plenty of time to plan. David Nolan – A real charming guy... *eye roll* Regina has spent years keeping David away from Mary Margaret, keeping their happiness away in lieu of her own. It worked for a while, until that insufferable Henry Carlyle came to town and began to change things. Now David has taken over the police force, putting a slight damper on Regina’s ‘complete control’ over the city, but he is as dim-witted as he is brawny, which Regina uses to her advantage from time to time. Robert Leland – Who used to be Regina’s right hand man, she could count on Robert to do whatever it is that she wished, and even though he went about things in his own legal way, he got results, results that made Regina happy. Robert also doubled as a bedside partner with no attachments, really the perfect arrangement until suddenly, he began to defy her including helping imprisoned Belle to return to Rumpelstiltskin’s life, crushing any leverage she had on the Pawnbroker. Now as the curse is broken, she can almost feel him plotting against her, to create her own downfall and has since become quite leery of Robert, feeling betrayal and hurt more than anything. Needless to say, there isn’t any more bedroom action for Regina anymore. Mother Superior - Grumpy and the other Dwarves - Victor Frankenstein - Cora Mills - Killian Jones - Jefferson Madden - Alice Liddell - Brief Bio: Regina was born in the shadow of her mother who constantly reminded Regina that whatever it was that she did, it was for her ‘own good.’ Regina was raised royally though she wanted no part of it; all she wanted was to ride horses and be free, however her mother would not allow it. Regina grew rebellious and eventually fell in love with the stable boy, Daniel. The two met in secret on a regular basis and one day, Daniel proposed. The two planned on running away together, Regina cared not for her royal future; all she wanted was true love. On the afternoon before they were to run off together, Regina heard a cry for help and spotted a little girl on the back of a spooked horse, running to their sure death. Regina jumped on her own horse and chased down the little girl, eventually stopping the wild horse and saving the little girl’s life. It wasn’t until Regina got home that she realized that the little girl was King Leopold’s daughter, Snow White, and King Leopold was out and about looking for a wife. And since this woman had saved his daughter from her death, he sought out Regina at once. Regina’s mother, Cora, accepted the betrothal on Regina’s behalf and in anger, Regina ran to the stables, determined to run away with Daniel. She met with him in the barn and cried out her worries to her lover, however Snow White, who had come to thank Regina and also welcome her as her new mother, overheard everything and ran off, crying. Regina chased after Snow and tried to tell her about true love, and made her promise not to tell anyone. Snow White promised not to tell. Regina and Daniel then decided that it would be best for them to run away on a different day, and so their secret remained hidden. Cora took it upon herself to start spending time with little Snow White since she was to be her step-granddaughter. Cora then began telling Snow that she was jealous that she and Regina got along so well, since Regina seemed to distance herself away from her. She then went on to tell Snow that she was upset because all she wanted was to make Regina happy. Snow, unable to hold the secret any longer, then begged Cora to not make Regina marry her father because she was in love with someone else. Cora then took it upon herself to put the pieces together. On the night that Regina and Daniel were to run away together, the night before Regina’s wedding to the King, Regina met Daniel in the stables; however Cora had followed her daughter there and found out everything. Out of rage that Regina was going to throw away her right to be Queen, Cora ripped out Daniel’s heart and crushed it in front of Regina, demanding that she marry King Leopold and take the throne as Queen. Now heart-broken and left with no other choice, Regina married the King and became Snow White’s step-mother. But she never stopped thinking about Daniel. It was because of this empty hole in her heart that got Regina thinking… can magic bring back the dead? There was only one person that would ever be capable of doing such a thing… and so she summoned Rumpelstiltskin and became his apprentice, learning the ways of dark magic although Rumpelstiltskin made it quite clear that “…dead is dead…” So Regina began to fill the empty hole in her heart with power, anger, and vengeance towards Snow White and in the process, killed her very own mother by pushing her through a looking glass to a land in which she knew nothing of, only later to send a rogue pirate by the name of Killian Jones to crush Cora’s heart for her. Years of plotting and planning, Regina finally came up with the perfect way to get back at Snow White. Through her heart. Regina staged Snow’s father’s ‘accidental’ death and reveled in her tears at the funeral. Afterwards, Regina sent out her Huntsman to chase Snow down through the woods and bring back her heart. The Huntsman, however having a kind heart, let Snow go and tried to trick the Queen by bringing her the heart of a stag instead. Regina was not fooled. Regina spent the next couple of years searching for Snow White through the forest, but never prevailed. Snow just always seemed to be one step ahead of her, all the time. And so Regina, tired of playing the game of cat and mouse, took matters into her own hands and began to torture her subjects. Anyone who knew information about Snow White but kept it to themselves was killed and thus the blood count by Regina’s own hand grew and grew the longer Snow hid and the blood war between royal families began. Snow was unable to take it anymore, unable to let others take the fall for something she had done, and so she agreed to meet Regina to make the bloodshed stop. Regina handed Snow a poisoned apple, telling Snow that if she did not take it willingly, Regina would kill Prince James (Charming) as she had him captive and continue to torture the innocent people in the villages. Seeing that Snow had no other choice, she bit the apple and fell lifeless to the ground. Now all Regina had to do was make sure that ‘True Loves Kiss’ wouldn’t be able to break the curse, and so, she went to Rumpelstiltskin for a curse that would keep the two of them apart forever. However, the curse came with a heavy price, and Regina was forced to rip the heart out of her very own father to create the curse. The curse brought upon a new land. Storybrooke. Having created the curse to bend to her will, Regina has sculpted Storybrooke out of her very imagination, making everything just exactly the way she wanted it. Everyone she used to know as ‘Pinnochio’ or ‘Grumpy’ had a completely new identity; even their memories were fake. As far as everyone else in Storybrooke is concerned, they have lived in Storybrooke their entire lives, going off of the false memories that Regina has implanted into their minds. She was able to pass along someone she used to know as Prince Charming and can smile knowing that he will never recognize Snow White, and has no memories of being married to her. She even adopted a small, young boy to help spruce up her life a bit, and Mason is the only person she truly cares for anymore aside from herself. However with the curse now being broken, and memories restored, Regina has been forced to tread carefully to save her own skin, but as magic has come to the small town, her rise in power is only just the beginning.
