Science is fun kids:

Earth's sun is a star, one of a near incalculable number of stars in space. While our sun is really spiffy, it is not unique in the universe. You can find G-type main sequence stars (the type our sun falls into) in more places than simply Sol System.

PS: Our sun isn't actually yellow. It's white.
