Unfortunately, I can't say that I'm familiar with the technology of the Last of Us but I can say that RPG before the Guildfall would have been very similar to Deus Ex: HR but not as sleek and refined.

With all the destruction that has passed, technology has been severely limited but that does allow for people to jury-rig and create new inventions from the old tech to aid in their survival.
