Powers & their limits: Telekinesis:
Crush: Surrounds an object in TK energy and pushes in.  Can crush a tank.
Lift: Can lift an object.  Has been known to throw cars over half a kilometer away.
Rip: Pulls part of an object in one direction, part in another.  Has ripped a tank in half, though it exhausted her.
Levitation: Can fly at 30 kph.  Prefers this to walking in dangerous situations.
Cocoon: TK shield that blocks incoming attacks.  Known to stop machine gun fire and even an RPG.

Personality: Angry at everyone, as a result of the abuse she suffered as a child.  She hates anyone who doesn't have powers, believing that they can't hope to understand what she went through.  The only people she really likes, though, are her fellow Experiments and those that have chosen Gene Therapy.

Backstory:  The government of Japan was searching for people with powers since WWII when they learned of them.  To that end, they were scanning every child that was born at a major hospital.  They found her in 1996, and a few months later they arranged for her to be kidnapped and sent to them at a research facility.
She was constantly tested from birth, having to retrieve her own bottle from nearby, or other things.  Once she reached five years old they started her military training, teaching her to fight and survive, and when she got older, making her fight for her life against robots and other soldiers, though she couldn't kill the soldiers.  In fact, when she was 14, they put her on an island by herself and made her survive being hunted for an entire year.
She was to be their secret weapon, the ultimate warrior to defend them should they be attacked, more powerful than the nuclear bomb that had once been dropped on them.  Due to disciplinary problems, mainly the fact that she refused to listen to anyone without powers, they couldn't put her in the field, as their other super-powered warriors were to weak to force her to obey in really desperate situations.  When the aliens appeared, though, they transferred her to the UN, where there were other experiments for her to be friends with.

Mind Speak:  Send messages to people at a distance.  Distance based on concentration.
Mind Link:  Connects him to another mind.  He can then alter perception or view their memories.
Mind Meld:  Merges with their mind, so that he can relive their memories and alter them.  Very short range.
Mind Sense: Can tell where other minds are around him.

Personality: Wants to learn as much as he can about technology and powers.

Backstory: When his apartment was destroyed in the initial invasion, he joined the recruits, despite not trusting the government.  The threat was too serious for him not to join, he believed.  He had been a mechanic in a factory before that, so he got trained as a technician for the military.  There he chose Gene therapy for his powers, as they would give him the most control and wouldn't risk brain damage.
He trained his powers every day after that, and, when they discovered that the aliens use telepathy and can invade minds if you get too close, he started using his powers to train the others in mental defense, something which anyone could learn, even if they didn't have powers, though the powers made it easier.
When they started forming teams, he chose to join Hatsuki's team, as he was one of the few people she considered a friend because he had taught her to defend her mind almost as well as her powers let her defend her body.
