Merlin quickly inhaled the last bit of food that was left in his tray in completely silence. He didn't find himself particularly interested in the conversations around him and found no real reason to interject any of them. He did, however, give a small smile as Ivan got 'told' and stormed out. Merlin looked at the time and found he had plenty of time left to meander about. He stood up, walked to a trash can, and tossed whatever inedible object that were left on his tray away. He then walked out of the cafeteria and took a nice walk. It had been forever since Merlin had been so relaxed. He let out a long sigh of relief. He hasn't really had anytime to relax lately. Nobody to blame but himself, he has spent many of his waking hours practicing and studying to enhance his abilities even farther. Combat isn't something that comes naturally to him, and he has to spend a lot of time theorizing, practicing, and implementing it. Merlin continued to live in his own head as he walk the grounds of Beacon. It wasn't until he heard the bell in the background, signalling the end of lunch, that he snapped out of it. He pulled out his scroll and searched for the name and location of his next class. "Grimm Studies, huh? Well, I hope there are live specimens for us to examine." He said with a hint of excitement in his voice. He then put his scroll away and zoomed off to his next class. He walked into the classroom and noticed that not everyone has arrived. This left quite a few open seats to choose from. Merlin gave off a small smile as he walked though the sea of desks. He decided to stop and sit at a desk that had two openings on both ends. He took off his cloak and laid it behind him. He then leaned back and waited for class to start.
