That aside that character actually seems really interesting and it has me curious as to how the serving girl fits in now.. I anticipated an uncle that'd try and get the throne for himself, and her as his 'spy' if you will but this changes things.

Well, I think I've got what you mean. Because King Etwine is King over all of Borhilon. And the Dukes lord over each of their four demesnes. And the fifth area is where the king is. Got it. Got it. 

And I don't think it's much of a surprise really... You kind of hit the nail on the head.
