"Just lost her, is all." The last thing he wanted was for Maggie or Glenn coming in and letting their rage get in the way of what was really important.

Rick turned to Carl, giving him one of his rare, gentle smiles. "We'll get her back." He hugged his son, planting a quick kiss on the boy's forehead. "You take care."

He then looked at Daryl as he walked away. He knew the prison was safe with the quiet man in charge. Then he went to the car and slid in, glancing at Jan to make sure she was ready.[/color]
