Kaya shrugged carelessly at the comment. “I guess if you’re planning on going down the super hero road then it’s not like you’re going to need math r science anyway.” She spoke honestly. It was something that had always annoyed her a little bit about school. They were so focused about shoving useless information into your head they never bothered to make time to teach you any truly valuable life skills. Well they did sometimes, but they were usually electives. Bryant spoke again, catching her attention and the girl pouted slightly before punching him gently in the arm. “Will you just be careful this time? I’m still not good with the medical side of alchemy. I get worried when I have to put you back together.” She pouted and returned to her food. Bryant had so many different challenges to face than she did. She wasn’t sure she would have been able to use her powers at all if there hadn't been books and texts to learn from and her father to guide her. He had to make everything up as he went along and, a lot of the time he had gotten hurt in the process. It worried her. What would happen if one day one of his powers backfired and his heart stopped? What would she do without him?
