[quote=@KeysOfKayes] Well, the link in [url=http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/77062-dutch-soccer-fans-permanently-destroy-500-year-old-fountain/ooc#]this thread[/url] just links back to the thread itself, instead of the actual article link posted. [/quote] The raw-text of that link, for reference: [pre][Url] http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url][/pre] When I hover over it, the url given is the same as the url I am on. Try below: [Url] http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url] However, I can see some errors in the BBCode. If we try this instead... [pre][url]http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url][/pre] [url]http://m.theglobeandmail.com/sports/soccer/rome-fountain-permanently-damaged-by-drunken-dutch-soccer-fans/article23113746/?[/url] As that now works, the problem was simply incorrect BBCode. Note the lack of a space in the corrected url vs the space in front of the url in the faulty link. The whitespace clearly causes the link to be parsed incorrectly and thus it reverts to the current page.
