I'm not sure any situation ever calls for someone to kill and I'd like to think the person who actively finds a way to avoid it is stronger but that's just personal opinion and not related to your question.

In terms of your question, note the way I understand that despite Thomas Wayne Jr and Bruce sharing a different name that Thomas is Bruce's Earth-3 counterpart despite Thomas Wayne Jr having a younger brother named Bruce. But that said I got that from a fan wiki so I mean unless DC says something we're both as right as that rock is over there on the matter.

So ignoring that, you DNA doesn't affect your smell. The environment, the foods you eat, the clothes you wear etc all affect your smell. So Owlman would absolutely not smell like Batman.
