I assume we're puking profiles up here. If not, I can replace this post with photos of adorable kitties, as if by magic.

This is pretty rough, let me know if I need to change anything. The general skill jutsu I just copy pasted from an old game [s]oh god, has it really been seven years since I last wrote in this fandom, wtf[/s] , because I am hella lazy. I will format them properly…eventually.

Personal Information

Name: Shunki, Kohaku Alias(es): Koko Gender and Sex: Cis Female Age and Birthday: Twelve, April 11th Sexuality: Heterosexual, presently disinterested.

Appearance

Body Type and Shape: Tall for her age, Kohaku hasn’t quite grown into her limbs. Lanky, but wiry, she’s at the weird age between child and woman. All muscled legs, deeply tanned and covered in countless freckles, Kohaku is a distinctive figure. Height: 5’3”, 160 cm. Weight: 93 lbs, 42 kg Hair Color: White blonde. Kohaku has coloured her bangs dark brown. Hair Style: All over the place; Kohaku is just as likely to wear ringlet curls as an artfully messy bun or a heavy braid. Her hair is her primary source of vanity and reaches the middle of her back. In training, she tends to wear it in a neatly coiffed ponytail. Eye Color: Pale grey. Clothing: Kohaku favors loose, light clothing to combat the desert heat that still offers freedom of movement. Black knee high sandals with shin guards meet black compression shorts and a high necked, sleeveless cream blouse, usually open at the stomach. She has her senbon and shuriken holsters on her right leg, with a scroll pack and canteen at her lower back. She keeps her forehead protector as a belt and has a loose, cream, red, and black headscarf looped and secured around her neck for easy access as needed. Kohaku wears heavy, reinforced black fingerless gloves to stabilize her wrists and to provide protection in combat. Kohaku accessorizes with trendy splashes of colour; a red scarf on her right arm, a massive and sheer patterned scarf tied at her hip, covering most of her left leg. The scarves make handy emergency bandages, can be tied to provide better sun protection, make excellent cooling devices when wet and are, perhaps most importantly, ridiculously cute.

Personality

Traits
Assertive
Kohaku is self-assured: she is well aware of her limitations as an aspiring shinobi, and equally as cognizant of her strengths. Her confidence lends her thick skin to shrug off most insults and gossip. She rarely second guesses herself, but she readily admits to her own inadequacies. Others, especially less confident people, tend to look to her for answers.
Relentless
When she has a goal in mind, Kohaku is nigh on unstoppable. Whether studying or training, she will throw herself entirely into her task. Single minded in her work, it can be difficult to remind Kohaku to do simple things like eat or sleep when focused.
Curious
Deeply inquisitive, Kohaku genuinely likes to learn. She pores over books in her off time, whether history, theory, or fiction. Prone to asking questions and snooping, she often gets herself in trouble in her pursuit of all the best knowledge and gossip.
Loyal
Devoted to both family and village, Kohaku is almost blind in her willingness to do as asked. She was raised to trust in the judgment of her elders and to follow their advice. With her friends, she is quick to provide support and exact revenge when wronged. Once accepted into her inner circle, it is nearly impossible to lose her favor.
Vindictive
Forgive and forget? More like resent and remember. While she might not care about simple mockery or gossip, Kohaku tallies deeper offences, especially against her loved ones, and she doesn’t let them slide. She relishes the opportunity to humiliate those who have made their way onto her shit list.
Judgmental
Kohaku is prone to snap judgments about nearly everyone: poor dressers, obnoxious idiots, arrogant assholes, weirdoes, cowards, so on and so forth. She is reluctant to give up her views on others until she is proven demonstrably wrong. She treats those she views as undesirable considerably less well than those she deems cool.
Combative
Kohaku relishes a good fight. Whether simple sparring or exacting revenge, Kohaku tends to leap into things with her fists and a jutsu on her tongue. Energized by the thrill of combat, it often leads her into trouble as she pursues the rush.

Likes

Fried fish
Sparring
Shopping
Reading
Family dinners
Spicy food
Exploring
Perfume blending
Snapdragons
Dislikes

Noodles
Cold
Swimming
Hospitals
Silence
Poorly maintained hair
Tardiness
Insects
Fishnet
Mushrooms
Clutter
Worries and Fears The loss of her family to the war deeply troubles Kohaku. Several of her older aunts and uncles have already died or been maimed. Of nineteen cousins (fourteen of which are shinobi or in the Academy), eight are presently deployed, alongside her two older siblings. Kohaku is terrified of going to war, having heard dozens of stories from her relatives. However, more than her fear of war, she is utterly wrecked by the thought of not reaching the frontlines herself. Hopes and Dreams Kohaku has very generic aspirations; be a good shinobi, serve the village, help protect her family. She hasn’t quite figured out what these dreams mean exactly, but they sound right.

Ninja Information

Clan/Bloodline The Shunki are not quite a clan, but they are definitely more than a simple family. Numbering nearly thirty members, their ninjutsu is united only very loosely. The Shunki are exceptionally close, living almost exclusively on the same street. They lack a bloodline talent and have not kept detailed records of their ancestry. They do, however, share a summoning contract, and all Shunki learn to summon weasels. Chakra Nature Raiton Chakra Amount and Control Kohaku has a moderate chakra supply and rather unpredictable control. Notably, her chakra behaves with violent sparks and arcs, tainting almost all of her techniques with electricity. She is effectively incapable of handling Fuuton based techniques.

Relationship Statuses

Family
Immediate Family
Hideo—Father—46 – Jounin Manami – Mother—45—Jounin, Hunter Nin Nobuo – Eldest Brother – 20 – Jounin, Medic Shizuka – Older Sister – 17 – Chuunin, Weapons Specialist

Friends
Shizuka and Kohaku are best friends, and Kohaku is close with almost all of her cousins. Hashimoto, Kiku—Academy friend. Inku, Shiroi—Academy friend Rikuda, Amaya – Academy friend Nagai, Tashita—Academy friend Yamada, Toshiaki – Academy rival.
Other Characters
To be filled in later.

Jutsu

E-D Ranked Skills. Body Replacement Technique (Kawarimi no Jutsu)
This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
Cloak of Invisibility Technique (Kakuremino no Jutsu)
This jutsu allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and blend into an object, making themselves invisible.
Clone Technique (Bunshin no Jutsu)
This technique creates a clone of the user, but it is an illusion, not a real copy like the Shadow Clone Technique. The illusions will dissipate when they come into contact with anything. A person with normal eyes can distinguish clones from the original if they watch very carefully.
Exploding Tag: Activate (Jibaku Fuda: Kassei)
Utilizing chakra, a ninja is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag.
Projectile Weapons (Tobidogu)
In order to store and use large items or various weapons that the user would never be capable of carrying normally, the user can keep them contained within summoning scrolls.
Rope Escape Technique (Nawanuke no Jutsu)
A basic technique taught at the Ninja academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up.

Ninjutsu Kohaku is reasonably gifted at ninjutsu, and has spent considerable time practicing.
Raikyū, 雷球, literally "Lightning Ball" English TV: "Lightning Ball" Rank and Classification: C-Rank, Offensive, Short range (0-5m). Bukijutsu Effect: By gathering chakra between his twin swords, Raiga creates a ball of electrical energy and launches it at the enemy. (Kohaku modifies this by using her metal knuckles) Drawbacks: Kohaku hasn’t totally mastered the ability, and still struggles with controlling it. *Custom Name: Arashi Yobigoe no Jutsu (Storm-Calling Technique) Rank and Classification: C-Rank, Offensive, Mid-range (10-15 m). Effect: Charges the air in a fifteen metre radius around Kohaku, and generates chakra-filled bolts of lightning that target either the tallest marks around, or someone branded by her ball-lightning. Drawbacks: The random nature of the lightning bolts make it exceedingly difficult to predict where the bolts strike, and the heavily static-charged air makes creating flames dangerous due to the explosive hazard.
Taijutsu This is where Kohaku shines—nimble, vicious, and surprisingly strong, she loves to get in close and hit hard, favoring steel knuckles and recklessness. She ranked second for taijutsu in her graduating class. This strongly motivates her to focus her training on her hand-to-hand combat. Come hell or high water, Kohaku is determined to be the best.
Nothing specific at the moment. Kohaku will learn specific techniques as the game progresses.
Genjutsu Kohaku has almost no aptitude for genjutsu. She struggled to learn the basics. As such, she rather distrusts the discipline, and tends to neglect it.
--

Equipment

Senbon (10), Shuriken (10), Flash Bombs (2), Explosive Tags (10), Steel Knuckles/trench knives (1 pair), Wire (15 feet), Minor First Aid Kit, Canteen.

Biography

Parents' History By the time Shunki Hideo had made Jounin, the family had sprawled across the neighborhood and swollen the ranks of Suna’s army. The eldest of eight, he was always an exceptional shinobi and leader. Matsumoto Manami went to the Academy against her parent’s wishes—an only daughter of civilians, they didn’t understand the appeal of such a violent life. Manami took to her studies like a house on fire. She surged through the ranks, making Jounin by twenty two. Hideo and Manami met on a mission and were married within the year. Manami took brief maternity leaves and moved into the Hunter Nin Corps ten years ago. Early Childhood Kohaku’s childhood was loud. Bouncing between her own house and the households of whatever Aunts and Uncles were available when her parents were on missions, she was constantly surrounded by a flock of cousins and trailing close after her sister. When her parents were home, they were devoted and warm, reading stories to their children after long days getting into mischief and studying. Academy Years There was never any doubt that Kohaku would enroll in the Academy. Desperate to be like Nobuo and Shizuka, who graduated at the top of their classes, Kohaku threw herself into her studies. She was reasonably well liked by her teachers, and formed a small group of friends who looked to her for leadership. However, Kohaku made plenty of rivals and enemies with her abrasive and competitive nature. She spent many afternoons being disciplined for various offences. Today Kohaku is in the process of calming down and growing up. Her life is in wild flux at the moment; with the war worsening, more and more of her family has been sent to the front lines. Her mother has been on missions almost constantly for the past year, and her father was recently wounded in combat. She is determined to make genin and join the war effort, even as she’s seeing the terrible consequences of war ravaging her loved ones. Kohaku takes every opportunity available to spend time with her siblings. Nobuo tends to lecture her on history or on new techniques he has learned, and they often stay up late into the night talking over tea. Above all else, she looks forward to her time with Shizuka. Despite the five year age gap, they are extraordinarily close and practically inseparable. Shizuka insists on avoiding all things shinobi in their outings, instead indulging in simple pleasures and taking the time to be young girls instead of weapons.
