Tim nodded in agreement, and so, the two of them moved on, hands intertwined, next to each other, walking significantly slower than they were before. But that was fine. Tim wanted it that way. His heart was beating at a million miles an hour, but he could hardly focus on it. He could only focus on the warmth of her body next to his, and the feeling of her hand tangled up in his. The snow was covering all of the sidewalk by the time they got back to Tim's apartment. They stood awkwardly outside the door, neither letting go of the others hand.
