Béatrix: Trixy studied Praetor as he talked on the phone, given her vampiric hearing; she caught every word Lucian said. Instead of childishly mouthing ‘I told you so’, which she was perfectly entitled to do, she just simply nodded in understanding. Praetor looked about as unsettled as he probably could get in that moment, and asked her for a drink. Béatrix did him one better than a simple drink, she topped of her glass of chartreuse, and then offered him the rest of the bottle. That particular brand cost a pretty penny and was her favorite, so it was quite the gift. “Here’s to a solution that involves the least amount of death, at least among your friends and mine, may the rest turn to ashes in the wind.” She said with a cool smile and leaned back before taking another calming gulp of the green liquour. As much as she disliked the Kingston’s and their ideals, they weren’t her enemy. There was a greater enemy out there, beyond this concrete jungle, an enemy to all vampires, human sympathetics or not. And now, there was a greater enemy in the city, rogue vampires willing to capture and destroy established foundations that kept vampires safely hidden from human eyes. When Alistair gave her the okay to brandish her weapon, she immediately took one of her glocks out and placed it on the bar. Her eyes caressed it much like it were her lover. She drew her finger along the cool metal, her breath catching at the sight of dirt and blood smudges, it needed polishing. Hell, she probably could use a good polishing after tonight’s battle - but a bath could wait until Maria was safe and sound in Skye Manor. Trixy pouted slightly when Ali sent the guard to tell them to kindly piss off instead of her, maybe he wasn’t actually serious about letting her shoot the next passerby. Adelisa had promised to help them find Maria, and in her next breath she was pacing around the bar and then telling them she was leaving. The click of Béatrix cocking her gun silenced the room. Trixy held the weapon, poised perfectly at the back of Adelisa’s head. Trixy didn’t even like this girl, and she sure as hell didn’t trust her, she doubted that Ali fully did either. Adelisa would not be leaving their sight until Maria was back in their grasp. “You aren’t going anywhere, darling.” Not until I’m bathing in their blood. The last part she merely thought in her head instead voicing aloud. Jareth: “Married?!” Jar said as he flung his hands out to his sides in theatrical disgust. “You can’t be serious!” The idea of marriage was the farthest thing from Jareth’s mind, he couldn’t fathom why someone would even consider something so… stupid. “Well, this place is a real snooze now.” His voice had a petulant whine to it, much like a spoiled child. “I think I’m going to stir up some trouble in the town. Ya know? Find myself a good bite to eat, and an even better whore.” Jareth said before winking at Maria and turning to leave. “And then I think I’ll eat her too...” he said out loud to himself as he walked away.
