Desmond's smile became somewhat wider as she nodded, happy she thought it was a good idea. He soon focused on the path ahead, his eyes occasionally darting off to look at anything that caught his interest. Though it wasn't long before they ended up arriving at her home. He looked up at the building as they arrived, curiously observing the area. It looked nice on the outside, making Desmond curious to see the inside. Considering Rick was a breeder, there were probably a few Pokemon inside he'd never seen before. He was excited. "Nice place." He replied, follwoing her up the steps and inside. His eyes widened as they walked in, his attention turning to the pictures on the walls quickly. They really said a lot about this place, and the happy times that many people must have had here. He noted the PC in the corner, though didn't mess with it, as April spoke with a woman at the counter of the shop-like room they were in. She'd been asked that question a lot today. About why she was back... It was kind of funny. Thankfully the woman had seen Hope, and she wasn't far. He hesitated to follow, but a small nod from the woman at the counter encouraged him to keep going. After entering the back, he noticed it appeared much more like a home than the last room did. The pictures seemed more personal, he noticed April and Rick in some of the ones he glanced at. As well as a woman who he assumed must have been her mother. He was, although he didn't say anything, somewhat scared of the stuffed Chatot on the piano. Simply because in his experience with birds, he tended to get pecked. A lot. Shaking off the chills, he noticed Hope outside with other Pokemon, seeming to watch over them. He considered it cute, especially after what he heard April say about Hope loving the Pokemon Rick raised. It was sweet, and he couldn't really find anything to say about it that wouldn't have been corny. He watched as April caught Hope's attention, before opening the glass door and mentioning food in front of them all. Leading to a small hoard of Pokemon charging their way over, tackling them. "Woah, woah, woah!" Desmond reacted more than April did, seeming to momentarily panic before simply staring at the small Pokemon around him. Looking towards April as she asked what he wanted. "I'm fine with anything, really. As long as it isn't spicy." He replied, glancing back at the adorable, hungry Pokemon. "We should stay here. It'd be a shame to leave these little guys already." He innocently added, seeming to be enjoying all the little Pokemon. Some of which he hadn't even seen before. Hearing the Beartic, Desmond glanced back and noticed the sight of him trying to fit in a chair. The poor thing wasn't used to being so big yet, and he felt bad for him. Though he had to admit.... It was adorable. He never considered how much a Pokemon might have to adapt when it evolves... Some of them get a lot bigger. He had to admit something sudden like that would confuse him a little, too.
