Nonozumi Miko Nono's brows furrowed as he thought, yes, she did look rather stupid. Sounded it, too. He scratched at his ears in annoyance, just about to turn and leave when the door opened. Well, now, see, he had to stay or be rude otherwise. "Pardon the intrusion," he excused as he followed after the girl, his journey to the kitchen leading up to watching another person wobble in with wounds. Something hummed in Nono, telling him that the sight of a wounded ghoul meant bad news, and that humming was what had kept him alive for quite some time so he intended to listen to it. "Oi, aren't you being a bit too rude," he chided the girl- snark at the waiter and her voice high pitched, Nono's head hurt just to hear it. Obnoxious. "Guy can barely move, and you're grinding him." He rolled his eyes before backtracking from area, back towards the exit as he called out- "Anyways, this looks like a bad place to be in, so I'll see you guys not here lmao g-t-g." And, with finger guns as monotone as his voice, he absconded, reentering the wild concrete jungle of District 8. Slipping on his Noh mask, his kagune released from his spine, attaching to brick and pulling himself up to the highest nearby rooftop, above all the cameras, hopefully. And just in case, he chose a rooftop near ones that other ghouls had ripped up, his eyes glancing up just to ironically make sure a satellite wasn't floating around watching him. "Never know with the paranoia prince, l-o-l," he said to himself, before starting his roof hopping adventure, senses searching for tasty prey.

Totsuka Chou Chou's wings almost bristled, partially because she'd been identified as a moth, and partially because there was something about the boy that bothered her. She slipped her mask off to get an even clearer look, only for her sight to be blinded by the appearance of Ishin. It was only then that she realized what she'd done- acting before him and not even hunting the right prey, Chou's ears burned lightly in shame. Her attention refocused as the scene before her occurred, and it struck her why the boy seemed so familiar. His face twisted with disgust, and it reminded Chou of something foul in her mouth as well- the boy had eaten a ghoul prior to this. And, from how the air around him bled of weariness, she knew that he didn't do it for power or willingly. Her eyes snapped towards Ishin, her feet instantly taking her forward as her mouth opened and closed. What could she say? She had already made so many mistakes that night, did she have the audacity to make a request? But, at the same time, she wanted to make sure this boy didn't eat any more loved ones, he must be shell shocked. No doubt the ghoul he'd eaten was like the ghouls she'd consumed- family, sisters. "Don't," she said finally, a hand reaching for Ishin's sleeves. "Let's keep him." Her small mouth pursed as she thought about her words, opening once more to request, "He can hunt... for us, we're low on ghouls because of the Doves... and..."- what was it that Ishin always said when he tried to convince her to stay at the club?- "I need friends..."
