I invented the semblance post personality, I'll flesh the personality out more as I get a feel for the character.

I've read Yang's semblance, and to be honest, Rowan's isn't that similar.

Rowan gathers power from her own emotional state, not the attacks of enemies, and she has natural armor instead of just nullifying their attacks. It's not as powerful, but Rowan doesn't require actual physical trauma to use it.
