The Bride fell in shock as one of the men disappeared from in front of her and appeared behind her, shooting her in the back.  But she'd been shot in the head before and lived.  She wouldn't let this end her.  She hit the ground and lay face down as something like a flashbang exploded near her, only it was far more powerful.  The explosion pushed her away from the others and she slid beside a metal bench.  she pushed it over so that she could hide behind it and coughed up blood.  [i]One of my lungs was pierced.  I don't have long before I have to get medical attention.[/i]

Thankfully she had managed to keep her sword through the ordeal.
