Slade's armor is really good, he has super-human reflexes, and he has a bit of a healing factor.  I wouldn't want to count him out yet.

Also, assuming he's dead sounds a bit god-moddy to me.  I want to make sure he says he's dead.

And if one of you really want to play as Deadpool, I'll figure out someone else to play as.  Master Chief sounds cool.
