So this whole trip was just to show off the new machine to the other kingdom. T’charrl wasn’t too happy with that and definitely had issues with the whole showing off new technology, probably because he was pretty humble and didn’t like to show off. If he was going to drive it then he wasn’t going to show off, his eyes going to Katas who decided to bail on him. You’d think someone like Katas would want to fly on the airship, but probably because of the possibility that he might crash being fairly high. Looking down at the controls again he frowned a little at the sight of them. “Uhh no, no I don’t think so”, he sighed, taking the controls, trying to get the machine to work. He didn’t know what it ran on, maybe something to do with the energy that lingered in the air but not many people knew about that. Starting up the machine he was surprised when it actually worked, his claws moving to grab onto the console in fright. He didn’t expect it to start up so suddenly, looking each way before placing his claws properly on the consoles, trying to remember everything he was told. “Uhh! W-Was that supposed to do that??” he panicked briefly before reaching for the anchor to pull it up. He had barely moved and was already panicking completely, but he was trying hard to keep calm and concentrate on what he was doing. He didn’t know how to control the machine completely other than through instructions so it was definitely scary having to do such a thing. Shu couldn’t understand how those things could hold them all up, especially when he probably couldn’t even lift this airship without trying really hard. He was curious as to how they worked, frowning a little when he came to no suitable conclusion even when Takeshi tried to help him. Looking down to Takeshi’s hand his own hand went to his eye, rubbing it lightly. “But I don’t get it if it’s so heavy…” He really had no idea how it was even able to lift itself, but then again T’charrl could fly even when he was giant but he could blow everyone away with his wings too. He certainly worried how people beneath the airship put up with the wings if they were going to flap. Looking up to Takeshi he stared at him with confusion, giving a little nod before lowering his head as his hair was ruffled. “Ooh, I’ll try…I’ll try! I’ll be brave, I will!” he nodded before squealing as the ship suddenly started to make noises and shifted slightly, prompting Shu to take hold of Takeshi, wrapping his arms around him again, “Ah! Nooo! I don’t know how to be brave! Scary moving under feet!”

Katas couldn't contain his excitement, it was the maiden voyage of his first airship! While a far cry from the space vessels he hoped to build someday it was a nice start, and there were plenty of applications for something such as this. Did other kingdoms have anything similar? He wasn't sure, but if they didn't then this would be a crowning jewel for their own and he was thrilled by that. Having explained the controls as simply as he could he urged for T'charrl to start the vehicle, eager to see how it ran. Near instantaneously the ship came to life, and with a slight shudder it began to hum dully, signaling the engines and mechanisms inside were working as they should. "Haha! Yes, yes it was! Splendid, it worked accordingly!" Katas cheered, grinning as he clasped his hands together, "Very splendid! Now easy on the throttle Prince! Just give it a little to start with, there's no reason to dive in head first. Remember, the throttle controls the wings, the levers the rudder and the pull cord releases the anchor! A very simply yet elegant design, I think you'll love flying it." He hoped so, it wouldn't exactly promote others to try piloting his crafts if the first pilot loathed the task. Worst case scenario he could always do the test flights himself he supposed, though the Queen may not be so keen on letting him fly off wherever he pleased. For a second there it was almost believable Shu was going to hold it together, right up until the airship turned on. Really it was nothing more than just turning on a car, the noise and faint rumbling being pretty similar. That didn't keep the little guy from getting spooked though, and pretty soon he was latching onto Takeshi for dear life. Looking down at his younger brother he smiled exasperated, letting out a sigh before placing an arm around him again. "It's going to be fine buddy, I keep telling you that. Once you get past the noise and a bit of shaking it's not bad, really." This was all being said of course without any idea whatsoever of how this vehicle of their was going to fly. Most everyone else was too mystified by the creation to be spooked, save for T'charrl who was a little bit uneasy just by turning it on. Maybe their friend wasn't the best choice for a pilot, though then again no one on board right now really was. This would be an awesome time to have Vegeta around, or Viral even. Glancing over at the benches Takeshi tried to get his brother over, figuring sitting down might make it not as scary for the little guy. "It'll be like being in a boat, have you ever done that? Just imagine we're in a boat in the water and not the air, maybe that'll help." Haku wasn't totally sure what to make of the airship, only that he thought this was all a bit much. There really wasn't anything stopping them from just flying off themselves, and had they done that chances were they'd nearly be there by now. Instead of taking the obvious route they were trying out a rickety prototype of an invention, made perfect sense. Bracing himself when the machine came to life he looked over at Shu, slouching slightly and looking on baffled at how meek the kid was. He was pretty much a self-proclaimed coward and yet even he wasn't freaking out over this. T'charrl wasn't having the easiest time of it either, though Haku guessed it was more having to fly the ship. He wouldn't mind giving it a go himself, even if the most he'd ever really driven before was a bicycle back on Earth. Standing at T'charrl's side he looked over the controls curiously, having heard most of what was said between him and that weird alien. "I can always do this if you don't want to..." he said, feigning little care as he idly flicked one of the displays, "I don't know what else I'll do during the trip anyways."

T’charrl wasn’t as excited about this as Katas was, clearly, but he was still trying to be excited over something he had little understanding over. This was Katas’s machine and the future of his people in terms of technology, giving it his care and attention. He didn’t want to break anything and send his people back in terms of technological intelligence. Trying to calm down a little he looked to Katas who was fairly excited over all this, as usual. The guy never gave him any talking down to so that was encouraging, sort of. Smiling nervously he looked back to the controls, doing what he needed to do to get the machine moving. It sure was scary having to be the first pilot for such a massive machine and yet Vegeta and his pilots barely had a problem with driving a massive one. If his people were to advance he would need to be a good example for them to start off and hopefully be able to find a way to peacefully travel between kingdoms in a relaxed manner. Slowly moving the throttle’s power up he sighed lightly as the airship managed to find the power it needed to feel stable, smiling a little when everything appeared to be going right. “Love flying? Maybe, I mean… I already love flying with my own wings”, he spoke calmly, still trying to concentrate on getting it into the air first, “Is this okay? I hope it is because I don’t know what I’m doing completely…” Shu didn’t like that noise, especially when it always reminded him of the vans on Earth. If this was going to be any different then he would definitely need to try and relax, hopefully not making T’charrl too nervous as well. Holding onto Takeshi he tried to calm himself, down, frowning when he mentioned the shaking. “Really…? I hope so, I don’t want to be frightened and tired…” he spoke lowly, not quite over being spooked. Lowering his head he looked away, looking to the benches when Takeshi tried to lead him over in that direction. He didn’t know if he wanted to let go of Takeshi but he probably should, even if it meant he might get thrown around the airship if something went wrong. Moving along with him he stared at the floor, hoping that keeping his mind off the fact that movement was inevitable. “Ooh…a boat? No, not been in a boat”, he frowned, having to add it to one of the latest normal things he had never done in his life, “I don’t know how it’ll help if I’ve never been on a boat…but water is kind of scary. Hard to swim! Don’t know if I remember how to swim too…” T’charrl was hoping he was getting it all correct, but there was only one way to see once he finally managed to get it flying and eventually landed in the other kingdom. Checking the rudder before finally moving his claws to the controls he jumped a little when Haku appeared out to the side, frowning when he decided to give the console a flick. “Uhh, this ship was meant to be flown by my people and you’re small like Shu”, he spoke quickly, looking back to the controls so he could bring the ship into the air, “I have to do this if I am to be an example for my people to follow…and you being small wouldn’t give you the reach, anyway”. He didn’t trust Haku with piloting something as expensive as this, especially when he didn’t seem to care all that much in the first place. He barely seemed to be enjoying the sights or participating in discussions so he figured his care level was near zero for actually being here to support him. “Why don’t you try talking to the others…?”

"Excellent! You're doing just fine T'charrl! As I said, gently push on the throttle and the wings will lift you up, it's very simple yes? The throttle itself will stick in one position if you leave it, so don't feel like you need to constantly hold onto it either." The more difficult part of this venture was likely going to be stopping, as steering and getting into the air were fairly self explanatory. The wings were angled in such a way that would push the ship forward, and obviously the faster they moved the quicker the ship itself would as well. To land all one needed to do was ease off the throttle, let the wings settle and then set anchor once all was said and done. They probably could have gone without the anchor, but with prevailing winds on their planet Katas figured it best to have some way to secure themselves to the ground. "I don't think you will... But should a storm come up be sure to land! It won't fare overly well in high winds, so you'd do best to find a place to set it down before you get caught up!" Oh it was everything he could do within his power not to start hopping right now, feeling all sorts of jittery over seeing his invention being used. Where there was excitement however there was also nerves, as depending on how this flight went they may or may not build more of these soon. "Enjoy your trip everyone, I look forward to hearing how it went!" That Katas man was really odd, and they left someone like that in charge of so much? Kaesstrians were a lot different than Saiyans in that regard, the King had a pretty much no nonsense policy and someone like Katas would never end up in any kind of real position. Speaking of position maybe he should be taking a little more incentive and try improving his standing with the others. Haku wasn't overly sure how to go about that really, but seeing how T'charrl was nervous about flying the ship he figured he'd offer to do it. Sure, he had no clue how just as the alien did and he wasn't going to show how eager he really was to try, but he'd put the offer out there. Coming over to the console he idly flicked at one of the displays, asking as passively as he possible could. Being called too small made him flinch slightly, frowning as he glanced up at T'charrl annoyed. "I'm not that small, and you're not that much taller than me anymore either. I could reach the controls easily," he retorted as he got all defensive, "But fine, if you want to do it then I won't bother you." Talk to the others? Right, because THAT always went over well. Shu still hated him and Takeshi only put on a front, he wasn't so blind as to think anyone here was actually welcoming him. Glancing over at the Princes briefly he let out a sigh, instead going to one of the few benches and laying down across it with his arms tucked under his head. If he wasn't going to fly then he might as well nap or something, there wasn't anything else to hold his attention. "If you're so tired buddy you can sleep, nothing's going to hurt you while I'm here," Takeshi answered with a smile, "I'll be right next to you the whole time." Keeping himself up couldn't be good, sooner or later Shu was going to need to sleep. Seeing the little guy like this was pretty disheartening as he was never this bad, and it would be a lousy first impression for Shu to show up like this. If this king of theirs was half as nice as they were being let on to believe then it shouldn't be too bad; if they were being lied to things could get a bit uncomfortable. Watching Haku take one of the benches he redirected his brother to another one, sitting down first and patting the spot beside himself. "It won't be bad, being in a boat is easy. I guess since we're in the air though maybe it's a little more like Nimbus? We'll be floating instead of driving or sailing, you know? It shouldn't be bumpy at all once we're in the air." Or maybe it would be with the wings flapping away, it was hard to say until they were actually doing it. "Do you want to try swimming while we're here? There's got to be water around here somewhere, and we've got plenty of time to do it. That's not hard either, we can probably teach you in a day if we tried."

T’charrl was sure he’d get the hang of it eventually and take-off was probably the hardest part of the journey, but not trying to think of the actual landing itself. If it was going to be shutting it off and dropping the anchor then everything should be fine, but if the airship required to be stationed on the ground then he was probably going to have some trouble with it. He had no idea whether they were to fly down and keep the ship stationary or actually land the thing while doing the reverse of what he was doing just now. Frowning a little he looked to Katas, not exactly happy to know that it wasn’t weather-proof. “Well, unless you smell a storm coming then maybe don’t remind me of having to do that. I don’t even know what to do if a storm comes”, he frowned, shaking his head, “If a storm comes during this flight, I’m pretty sure the ship is doomed”. With Katas giving him no further instructions he thought it was about time to get it finally flying. Looking to the wings quickly to make sure they were completely even he sighed, moving his claws to the steering and shifting a third arm over his crutch and to the throttle again. Glancing to Haku he frowned at his response, sighing lightly. “’Anymore’? I’m crouching…” he sighed, looking back to the controls, “I’ll call if I need any help, okay? If this airship is the future of my people then the first to pilot it should be a Kaesstrian”. He didn’t want to sound mean but Haku was the one who was throwing his negativity at everyone else just because he wasn’t happy. He should remind himself that they didn’t need to take him along with them, especially after he tried to kill him. Once Haku had gone off he turned his full attention back to the controls, giving the throttle a good push before pulling at the steering, trying to get the airship flying. Luckily for him it was correct as the machine roared into life and finally rose up, alerting T’charrl. He wasn’t used to controlling something this large nevermind one of the new vehicles his race had already gotten their hands on. Swinging the airship around as it rose up he looked to the console to direct him, hoping it was correct in its directions. Looking to the wings quickly to make sure they were alright he soon let out a groan, hoping they were supposed to move like that before he pushed forward, setting it on its way. Shu didn’t want to sleep, that was the only problem. His mind would still go after him in a nasty way and he really didn’t want to have to be screaming on the ship and freaking his friend out. He wanted to be nice and quiet while his friend was driving so that maybe the trip would be nice and gentle. “Ooh, but what if bad things happen…?” he muttered, giving his eyes a quick rub, “Maybe like Nimbus…ooh, but it’s big and flat and not fluffy…” He didn’t know what to do about all of that or whether things would change just because he thought of something else while they were flying. Lowering his head a little he gasped when the airship jerked a little, signalling T’charrl’s take-off. If this was going to be like this every time he was worried about how exactly he might handle this flying stuff. Getting all nervous again he glanced to Takeshi, giving a quick nod, “M-Maybe, maybe…maybe there is water somewhere! Ooh, what if it’s not safe…? Everything’s so scary right now…”

"Oh it is not doomed! It may very well hold up during a storm too, we don't know yet. That's why this is a test flight," Katas said cheerfully, "If you're worried about it though then set down the minute you think one's approaching and everything will be fine. It's all about caution here my boy, baby steps!" If they rushed into the maiden voyage than the ship would surely fail, it just so happened that preparations had been handled for such a venture already. Placing his hands behind his back he bounced on the balls of his feet, waiting a bit impatiently as it was sorted out who would actually fly the craft. T'charrl sounded adamant about handling the task, much to the dismay of his young companion evidently; It was a Kaesstrian ship, made sense for one of them to pilot it anyways. With baited breath he waited only a moment longer until the vehicle finally took off, inciting a gasp of excitement from Katas. "Brilliant, stupendous, wonderful!" he exclaimed, laughing happily as he clasped his hands together, "Have a safe trip boys! We'll be waiting to hear from you soon!" Katas added, waving as the airship began to drift off. So it hadn't crashed right as it had taken off, that was a relief. Now hopefully the joints and everything else held up on the journey! There really was no easy way to get Shu to relax here was there? If he was going to be stressed about this whole trip then so much for relaxing at all on the way there. "Okay... So maybe it's not soft like a cloud, but it's the same idea... Kind of. Look, you want soft?" The only thing he could think of doing was grab Shu and place him in his lap, which he did exactly that. It was better than sitting on the hard benches, and the little guy wasn't too big or heavy so putting him there wasn't a problem. Smiling hopefully now that his brother was perhaps more comfortable Takeshi gasped along with Shu as they shot up, albeit for a different reason. Having a certain spot uncomfortably compressed upon launch he let out a faint wince, leaning forward slightly as his eyes teared up some. Sheesh, he really wished they had some warning they were taking off! Squirming slightly in his seat the older boy looked back at Shu, smiling a little before patting his brother's head. "Relax, the water is safe I'm sure. It's not going to be like Uuonoe where there was a giant fish trying to eat us, so calm down buddy." Honestly, what was scary about this? They all could fly, every single one of them, so it wasn't like having the ship fall out of the sky would spell the end of them. If Shu was so worried about falling out there were four people who could catch him, and that was provided he didn't just catch himself first. "Look at it this way... Nothing can hurt us up here in the air, everything scary that might be here is way down below us. It's just me and our friends here now, nothing to worry about you know?"

So everything was going to go wrong; first will be the storm, but right after that they would then fall out of the sky after they try to escape the tearing up of the ship. His kind weren’t very good in storms and avoided flying when they happened so the musician and himself would probably be in trouble, especially when he didn’t feel confident in using his Ki to fly in front of strangers. With the airship pushing up and his fear rising he tried to keep it moving and hope for the best and only hope that Katas was just trying to scare him. If he got hit by strong wind then he didn’t know what he would do. Levelling out the airship he let out a sigh, trying to keep calm as well as keep his balance on his crutches. Things seemed to be going well and this wasn’t too hard so far, at least when he put his worries aside for something other than crashing and burning. Too much was on his mind now along with everything else that was already bothering him so it was easily going to be a very tense trip despite the reassurance that the King was very pleasant. Shu was not at all relaxed and was stressing out quite hard, but as Takeshi took him and placed him on his lap he looked to him curiously. He didn’t know what he was supposed to feel but ‘calm’ came to mind, his tail curling around as if trying to take advantage of this moment of comfort. The airship had sprung to life by now and Shu was quick to feel fairly scared, grabbing hold of his tail as even Takeshi seemed to have an odd moment of worry for some reason. Feeling a little tense he raised his shoulders when Takeshi gave him a pat, his eyes going up to him curiously before he frowned. “How can you be so sure?” They hadn’t found water yet and if the Kaesstrians were already hardy then there must’ve been a lot of dangerous creatures out there. It was something he learned from growing up in the wild himself and these guys certainly had a lot of nature all around them. Looking to Takeshi he frowned a little, sighing and looking away as he rubbed his eye. “I guess so…I mean, Friend T’charrl is guiding us, right? Keep us safe…ooh, why am I scared of everything…”

Takeshi really didn't have the faintest idea what he could do to help, as he hadn't a clue what got Shu so stressed to begin with. He figured it was enclosed spaces that put the little guy on edge and yet the airship was open as could be; flying wasn't anything new for him, he did that both on his own and on Nimbus. Really this wasn't anything new for them, so what gives? Hoping to help a little bit he moved his brother into his lap, figuring maybe the closeness would help make Shu feel a little more at ease. It probably didn't help the situation that Takeshi had gone and made a gasp as well, even if it was one more of discomfort than fright. Squirming uncomfortably he smiled sheepishly at Shu, giving him a pat on the back as he kept questioning things. "Well... I mean I can't be, but if we only go into a small body of water then there's no way there can be something big in it, right? We'll try finding a little lake, or a river or something even." They would just have to be careful and not go jumping into the first body of water they came across, that's all. "Maybe you're all stressed and everything because you haven't slept, you know? I know when I go without sleep for a while I get all cranky and nervous sometimes," Takeshi said, "But you don't want to sleep, so... Maybe we should play something? It's safe to walk around so we could play tag maybe?" The musician hadn't known what to expect of the take off, and was just as surprised as anyone when it happened. Rather than take to the benches like the Saiyans had however he was far more interested in looking around, seeing what he could over the railings. Sure, flying was scarcely a new concept and he'd seen sights like this dozens of times, but never like this. He'd never have thought he'd be returning home in a flying ship, and he was thrilled with the songs he could write about this! If this was the future for their people then it was going to be a very interesting future indeed, it would be interesting to see how things developed from here. Smiling as he watched the ground pass by below the musician finally tore himself away from the side of the airship, looking over at the Saiyans curiously. They either seemed terribly disinterested or frightened by this, what a shame they couldn't enjoy the journey. T'charrl didn't seem very relaxed either, perhaps he could do something to help with that? Music had a way to soothe people if done right, and what better time than now to try? Smiling as he took the lute into his hands he closed his eyes, plucking one string and beginning to hum along with the note. Soon he was plucking one after another, playing a soft melody in hopes of helping tone down the tense atmosphere.

T’charrl didn’t know if he was completely confident with doing all of this himself with nobody to guide him along the way, not even someone to show him where he was going while he was concentrating on this. He didn’t have any help and it made him pretty nervous. While he didn’t know if this was going to be successful he continued to focus on the bad thoughts without meaning to, worried that he was going to end up destroying this machine and embarrassing his mother and father. It was a big task for someone who hadn’t even got over what happened to him and was still reeling in negativity and thoughts of failure. It wasn’t pleasant at all when he had no one he could speak to about it, at least not yet when he hadn’t found anyone who knew what he was going through. Trying to keep up with his own thoughts was proving difficult and even more so to drop them whenever they were negative. Sighing lightly he gasped when the musician decided to play some music, looking back to him quickly as if surprised by the fact he could even do that. He was so out of tune with the world that even that surprised him, letting out a sigh as he decided to detach the negative thoughts and try to keep focused on the music. It was fairly hard to keep calm by himself so the music should hopefully help, probably just the thing he needed too. Shu didn’t like being all high strung and confused like this, but he was fairly tired too. He was a little upset with himself for getting like this and being unable to sleep properly over a few bad memories, even if he had been under Saiyan lockdown for a very long time. They had done all sorts of bad things to him and even tried to bring out the worst in him, certainly managing to upset him greatly. Feeling nervous he kept his head low, twiddling his fingers anxiously. “I guess so…maybe still ask Friend T’charrl for bad things too that might be mean”, he sighed, rubbing his eyes, “I’m not cranky…at least. It hard to sleep, not sure how to sleep. Tag sounds really hard…” He was definitely anxious but the longer he sat there the more tired he was feeling, especially now that a strange melody was playing. Looking to see where it was coming from he saw the musician playing his instrument, staring at him tiredly before he slowly rubbed his eyes, trying to keep them open essentially so that he didn’t have to sleep. He was beginning to fail gradually, his eyes and head getting heavier. Finding it generally hard to keep focused on Takeshi talking he slowly nodded forward, trying hard to keep awake but finding it near impossible as the music continued to play.

The musician had just randomly started playing and in doing so he'd done them a great favor. T'charrl seemed to calm down ones the notes began flowing, and though perhaps against his will Shu finally managed to get to sleep. Takeshi watched his little brother during the entire duration of the trip, frowning every time there was the slightest twitch or uneasy movement. If he was having a bad dream then he'd hopefully get through it okay, they didn't want to wake Shu seeing how tired he was earlier. Eventually the younger Saiyan was moved to his brother's side, kept close enough so he had some comfort but at least he wasn't using Takeshi as a seat any longer. A good while had passed until the musician finally stopped his playing, and not long thereafter they had finally found what they were looking for. At least that's what the musician said, Takeshi couldn't see anything other than trees below them. Following their escort's instructions they gradually descended towards the ground, having to search a little bit for some open land to set down on. Small fields of grass broke up the forest here and there, and a pair of rivers seemed to encompass the area they were supposed to be visiting. But where in the world was the city? "Uh... You sure this is the right place...?" Takeshi asked, frowning as he peered over the side as best he could. It was hard to see much from the bench, and he didn't want to move what with Shu using his thigh as a makeshift pillow. Craning his neck unsuccessfully he let out a sigh, leaning back and scratching at his head. "I kind of figured we'd see... Well, you know, a city. There's nothing but trees down there." He didn't think they were tricked or anything, but it was really confusing as to what was going on. Maybe the guy didn't want them landing in the actual city and they were going to walk the rest of the way in; considering that their ship was completely new to this world that wasn't such an unreasonable idea. If they were indeed at their destination then they should be ready to get moving which meant time to wake Shu up. Looking down at his brother Takeshi smiled, giving Shu a little shake before playfully poking at his nose. "Hey buddy... Wake up, we're here," he whispered, giving his nose a second poke. It was so nice to be back home, and so quickly too. If he had flown under his own power this might have been possible, but his wings would have hurt so bad they may well have fallen off afterwards. To think they had something like this, it really was a majestic invention. No doubt someone had seen them by now and word of an odd flying machine had been spread, so he wouldn't be terribly surprised if some guards met them when they did land. "It is the right place, yes. Our city isn't the same as the one T'charrl is from; many cities on our world are different from one another, we're all like different cultures in that way," the musician answered, smiling as he walked over to the railing and looked down, "It's what makes my job so much fun. I get to explore other kingdoms, see things few see and write songs about it. This little adventure of ours is certainly going to be one of those songs." Smiling thoughtfully the musician grabbed up his lute once more, strumming a few strings thoughtfully as he hummed under his breath. Lyrics would come in time, he'd have the chance to toy around with it some once they settled down. Haku was fair lost as to where they were too, even while looking over the rails. There had to be something down there and yet none of them could see a single thing. Canopies were too thick to peer through, and the fields were all empty for the most part. There was some weird colored grass in a couple of them, he wondered if they might be some kind of crop or just alien grass. Folding his arms on the railing he rested his chin on them, letting out a long sigh as he peered down. As far as his adventures went this was by far the most peaceful, and boring. He wasn't craving a battle or anything like that but he just wasn't used to so much casual time, it was odd. In fact the amount of time the Princes and their friends spent doing basically nothing was strange considering everything going on around them, it was like they were ignoring it or something. Shrugging the thought off for now Haku pushed away from the railing, going over to see how T'charrl was doing with the landing part. He'd managed to fly them here with no problem, but now came the landing which was supposed to be the trickiest part. "Do you remember what the weird guy said to do?" he asked, looking over the controls curiously.

Shu wasn’t able to keep awake throughout the trip and was out like a light throughout the majority of the trip. He was completely out cold and remained all curled up, twitching and groaning every so often. He would hold his tail sometimes and rub his feet together, certainly appearing restless yet in deep slumber. To be able to nap like this was rare for Shu but he certainly needed it, his mind unable to rest under his own command. Remaining all curled up even after Takeshi moved him, he let out a little squeak when Takeshi shook him, his eyes closing tighter for a moment as Takeshi poked his nose. Groaning lightly he curled up tighter, remaining asleep until Takeshi poked his nose again, gasping as he woke up suddenly. Squeaking as he flinched awake he pulled back, looking around hastily before realising it was Takeshi who did that. Staring up at him he squeezed at his tail, trying to focus his eyes on him as he woke up some more. “Ooh, what happened…? Were we going to play…?” he asked up, giving his eyes a rub, “Where are we…? I didn’t mean to close my eyes, really…” T’charrl had calmed a little by the time the musician finished his music but he still had to deal with the stresses that were to come. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do when he got there other than the reverse of what he did to lift off. He needed to find somewhere to land the machine and could only hope there was somewhere that might be pretty obvious, but upon seeing the kingdom it was very difficult to see anywhere that might be a good landing spot. They certainly took advantage of the trees this time round and seeing how they were everywhere he couldn’t tell where he might be able to land. He didn’t have a great vantage point either considering where he was standing, especially when he didn’t have someone who knew the area well enough to help him land. Looking to the musician he frowned a bit at his reaction, not getting a very good answer to what he was needing. Hearing him, it didn’t sound like he knew where to land either, or maybe he didn’t care too much and just wanted to do what any other passenger would do. Sighing lightly he looked to the console for any clue, frowning when Haku decided to ask him something that wasn’t particularly helpful to him. “I remember…but I can’t see anywhere to land”, he spoke, frowning as he looked around, “I can’t see very well and there’s no point on stopping too far away from the King’s palace. Can you see where the King might stay at all? It’ll look like a largest building, probably a decorated garden of some sorts too…”

Takeshi was grateful that Shu had managed to get to sleep finally, even if it didn't look like the most restful of naps. The little guy never work up during the whole event, which was nice, now they just had to wake him up. Anything serious like shaking him or picking him up might startle him, so Takeshi figured he'd just poke and prod until Shu finally woke up on his own. Giving his brother's nose a few gentle pokes he chuckled when the younger boy finally came to, ending up being startled even with his being so careful. "We're at the new city buddy, or at least we're supposed to be..." Takeshi answered, scratching his cheek as he glanced back towards the railings, "We can play later, I think we're going to meet that king guy now. I'm sure we'll have time for it though." Hm, Shu really didn't sound much better, hopefully his mood would improve after they met the King and got some playing underway. Done with sitting on such a hard bench Takeshi got up from his seat, groaning as he gave a good stretch and rubbed at his rather sore backside. It was hard to tell where this city was, and evidently he wasn't the only one struggling with that. Putting his hands on his hips he walked over to the rails, frowning as he glanced over and tried to pick out any signs of civilization. "Shu... Come here, you see anything down there?" "Uh... Where a King might live...? It looks like just a bunch of trees..." Haku mumbled, shrugging as he looked around some more, "I figured it would be like your city, but there's nothing here." The musician did know where he lived, right? It was hard to tell how old the alien was, but it might be possible the man was senile and lost. Heck, other than having an instrument on him there really was no way of knowing he was an actual musician. Glancing over at the Kaesstrian warily he let out a sigh, wondering if it might be best for someone to fly down and take a look around. Nothing could be seen from above but there was the forest floor, maybe it was just hidden. Or maybe they weren't in the right place and had to keep traveling some ways. In the grand scheme of things being a little lost was hardly the worst problem to have, but it certainly was annoying. Seeing nothing no matter how hard he looked Haku finally got fed up, turning to look at the musician toying with his lute. "Hey... We're in the right place aren't we?" he asked incredulously, "You're not leading us around are you?" "Hm...? Oh, y-yes, of course we're here! You're just not seeing it!" the musician answered, smiling nervously as he hugged his lute, "Our city is hidden, sort of. It's not like other cities, we live in the trees!" In a manner of speaking anyways, it would be much clearer once they had actually settled down and arrived. Looking over at T'charrl he moved to the front of the airship, peering down over the edge for some open land to set down on. It didn't take him long thereafter to find something, an area that used to be farm land but was now just a field some hundred meters away from where they hovered. "Over there! We can land there, and the city is nearby. No one is near there, so we shouldn't have any problems." That was being a touch optimistic as no doubt someone had noticed the flying ship by now, and kind as the King may be he wasn't going to sit by idly while something unknown hovered over his city. Guards would be coming by either any moment now or as soon as they landed, but so long as he did the talking things should work out just fine. Going to rejoin the rest of the group he smiled hopefully, gesturing in the direction of the spot. "I'll speak when we meet someone, it's best I do it. I'll introduce you though Prince, that should make them treat you kindly."

Shu didn’t know what was going on or whether he was actually awake but things were definitely different, a numb feeling in his legs gradually disappearing as he regained his ability to walk. He was really worried that he was still asleep and that Takeshi was part of his dream, thankfully he wasn’t and nothing bad was going to happen to him too. Yawning into his arm he tried to wake up some more, looking up to Takeshi with some mild confusion, “Ooh, really…? So nothing bad…? That’s good, I was scared for a second…” He didn’t know what he had to be scared of but it was definitely an aftershock from his unwanted nap. He didn't even know what happened in his dream to give him such a reaction, but he was going to have to forget about it if he was going to recover. Giving his tail a squeeze he gave a smile, not feeling completely sure about his location either. “The King guy? I think I remember that”, he nodded, looking to the railings curiously all while feeling a little worried that he might fall down. Watching Takeshi curiously he tilted his head, slowly moving off his seat and wandered over towards Takeshi, keeping close to him as if afraid that he might fall. Staring down over the edge he gazed curiously at the trees and grass, finding it completely fascinating how different they all were compared to where T’charrl lived. “Ooh! Colours! More colours! Where the buildings? Those trees are funny. Why are they a funny colour?” T’charrl didn’t have a clue to where he was supposed to land or whether he was anywhere near the palace itself. He didn’t want the airship to get damaged while he was away speaking to the King so it was vital that he got it settled somewhere where he could get to it quickly. It would be disastrous if he couldn’t look after the ship, especially when it was his people’s first one. Looking around for a possible landing place he frowned when he couldn’t see anything resembling a palace, looking to Haku to see if he could see anything. Didn’t sound as if Haku knew where to land either, frowning a little when he didn’t find anything either. Frowning at the musician’s answer he looked down again to try and see it himself. He didn’t know what he was talking about but if there was something down there then he had to take his word for it. Looking around curiously he gasped when the musician immediately proclaimed where to land, looking to the field. “Uhh, okay. I suppose I should risk it. Mother would kill me if someone stole this…” Spinning the airship around he headed it off towards the field, trying to slow down the airship. “Okay…well, hopefully they don’t think you’re lying. I’m not exactly dressed in anything to say I’m a Prince. Just…hold on a minute, I’ve got to try and get this thing positioned correctly…”

"I have no idea where he is, I don't know where anyone is down there... Or anything," Takeshi said, frowning as he narrowed his eyes, "It's got to be hidden somewhere, maybe that's it. It could be some secret city, sort of like how T'charrl's is underground, you know?" That was the only logical explanation here, there were no buildings or anything for them to see. Tilting his head in confusion he glanced back at Shu, shrugging his shoulders before smirking. "I don't know, maybe they're just weird? Maybe it's something in the water? You're asking the wrong guy buddy." Someone could probably give them some long winded, convoluted explanation explaining exactly why the leaves were a certain color, and why they were all so big and whatever but he didn't particularly care. Overhearing what was being said about the city Takeshi raised an eyebrow, peering back down at the trees and leaning over the rails slightly. "City in the trees, huh? Sounds cool," he mumbled with a smile, "Maybe they'll like you Shu, since you lived in the trees and all. I bet their city is a little nicer than... Er... What the heck did you use to live in? Or did you just sleep in a tree all plain and with nothing?" Setting down in that field shouldn't be an issue, no one had used it for some time now. They cycled through fields after all to keep fertility high, and while he hardly kept track of that information he remembered it'd been put out of use just last year, meaning it would be some time until it was used again. In short it was just a patch of grass, no one would be offended if they landed there. Feeling quite excited at returning home the musician smiled up at T'charrl, not worrying as much as the Prince was by a long shot. "No one will steal it, I promise! Even if someone did try I doubt they could fly it either," he remarked, chuckling to himself, "And they'll believe me, I would have no reason to lie to them, yes? Just be at ease young Prince, you're amongst friends here!" You really needed to do something quite nasty to be scrutinized in this kingdom, and thankfully the number of malicious people here were few and far between. Something like what had happened in Eslaria's kingdom was unheard of here, at least it had been for a good many years. Bracing somewhat as the ship began to descend towards its destination the musician eased himself over towards the edge again, looking around curiously to see if anyone was coming their way. "Do we wait here for someone to arrive, or just go ahead into the city? I don't imagine it'll cause any problems if we go and explain ourselves."

Shu didn’t know what to think of the area but he really did like all the trees, feeling fairly at home even though it was a completely foreign world. If these trees were a home to someone then that made him feel fairly happy by default, but he didn’t like how high he still was and did want to get down from the airship and get among the trees. It would make him feel a lot better automatically if he was on the ground where the trees were rather than in the air like this. Squeaking as he pulled back away from the edge he looked up at Takeshi, tilting his head curiously. “Secret city? Ooh, very secret. No tell anyone”, he muttered, looking back down at the trees. He couldn’t see anything so it was definitely a secret, making Shu smile at the thought that there were many people down there. Bouncing on his toes he kept his fists close to his chest, looking to Takeshi curiously when he asked him a strange question. “Ooh? Got leaves, made bed in trees”, he spoke, making patting gestures in front of him, “When it rain, go into middle of treetop with many branches! Big leaves for cover, move under lots of branches and leaves…ooh, it lasted a long time or until attack! It was nice, but wet and frightening…” T’charrl wasn’t sure how he would handle the landing, especially when he wasn’t going to get it right the first time. Everyone was going to be nervous while he tried to land, even if he knew how to do it after being told. He had been going over in his mind how to do it and trying to think it through the entire time he was flying, but that didn’t mean he was going to be able to nail it first time round. “Uhh, if you are so sure. I mean…strange vehicles would get looked at by someone and that someone might have some strange interest in them that I don’t wish they’d have”, he sighed, feeling doubtful but trying not to suggest that he saw everyone in a negative light. He had a hard time trusting outsiders but that was natural to him, especially when he had been hunted for so long. Pulling the airship’s controls he slowly tried to manoeuvre around to the field, getting ready to shut everything off and drop the anchor seeing how there was nobody down there. “They might already be on their way so maybe we should wait…get a proper escort too”, he sighed, finding this all difficult to concentrate on while trying to make a decision like that, “Think they’ll be kind since we have new technology? If this returns with holes in it, I’m going to be in all sorts of trouble…”

"I don't mean the city is literally a secret, it's just hidden. You know... Not sticking out like T'charrl's city does?" It didn't make a whole ton of sense why a city might be hidden, especially not if it was peacetime and the ruler was such a nice guy and all. Maybe there was something more to it they didn't know about, Takeshi was going to have to ask out of curiosity. Come to think of it too how did someone even live in a tree? You couldn't actually live in one like a squirrel, people were way too big. These were big trees and all, but surely they didn't burrow into them. Maybe some kind of tree house thing, though again he was hard pressed to imagine that too. "Really? So you just slept in a tree, with nothing but leaves?" Takeshi asked, frowning as he gave Shu a funny look. No wonder the little guy had been so awed when he was given the couch to sleep on, that was high class compared to a mossy, hard branch. No more sleeping in trees in the rain for Shu, they had a house now and he was going to have to get used to living there. Sure, they could go camping if he wanted to get back to nature or whatever, but even then they were going to bring a tent or something. Too many creepy crawlies at night to sleep in the open, Takeshi wanted no part of that. The musician saw no reason to fear the vehicle being stolen, and it wasn't as though it was something that could be stolen easily. Even if someone knew how to get into it and actually pilot the vessel they would surely be noticed, and he and the Prince could fly. Er... Not that he would give chase, but surely the guards would as well. He had heard that these visitors of theirs could fly too, but they had no wings or anything that would suggest such a thing. He couldn't see a reason for them to lie about that and yet it was impossible to believe without seeing. "If someone figures out how to pilot this I think they deserve to take it," the musician joked lightly, "It will be fine. Theft is hardly a problem here, and we're very courteous to visitors." Watching as the field drew ever nearer he smiled excitably, rather eager to return home and share his story with others. He might leave out the part of being roughed up by the guards, as everything else on his trip was just fine and happy. Swaying slightly when the airship came to a halt in midair he looked back at the Prince, tilting his head curiously at his decision. "Hm, we can wait then, yes. I don't see any problem with that," he agreed, smiling, "And as I said, we're a very courteous people here, we won't treat you poorly without just cause, and even then we try to be lenient. If any holes are made I'm sure someone will be able to help fix it up."

Shu felt confused over Takeshi’s claims, finding the use of the word ‘secret’ not being the same as ‘hidden’ to be strange and confusing. He didn’t know whether he was supposed to think that it was hidden away or purposely done so to keep people from going there, but the again he didn’t listen to what the city was like and did wonder if they were scared of bad things happening or something else attacking them. It was such a curious thing but he wasn’t going to pry too much when he had more to worry over. “Ooh, so it’s safe down there? No bad things? I hope they have food for me. I’d like that!” Getting all excited over the thought of food he continued to stare down at the trees, squeaking when Takeshi questioned his living standards when he was out in the wilds. He didn’t think it was a big deal, even if it was hard at times. “Well…yeah! Yeah, also sticks…you know, for keeping leaves together!” he spoke, bouncing on his toes, “It was hard. Sometimes not feel very well because no fur…but now I have fur! Sort of. Miss Yumi thinks it’s cute…but not sure why Father did that to me. Maybe he thinks it cute too? I don’t think he does. I’m so confused. I don’t know what I am supposed to be…” T’charrl had every reason to worry over the machine being stolen, especially when there was so many people out there trying to get him for what he did to the General. He still didn’t understand how anybody could follow that man, especially now that he was completely debilitated and defeated. It wouldn’t be too hard to believe that there was even some people out in this city who knew him and wanted him gone. He was dangerous in these people’s eyes and they’d do anything to get rid of him, even follow him to different kingdoms if they had to. Slowing the airship down he carefully tried to get it to go lower, hoping it would behave while he tried to land the machine. “It’s not so much it being a problem here than it is possibly following me”, he sighed, staring down at the control panel as he tried to stabilise the airship, “I’m not exactly liked by a lot of people. There may be, uhh…’trouble’ following me”. Getting the airship to stabilise in the air he let out a sigh, slowly dropping the anchor. It was all he could do for now until the guards came to see who they were, but that wasn’t a big concern of his. “I don’t know how they’ll fix it if any damage is made, but I’m sure you’re telling the truth and I will be safe. I just-…I guess I’ve had to be cautious my entire life and even when I know I’m safe, I still get nervous. I hope that’s understandable…even if it is embarrassing…”

"I'm sure they have food Shu, they have to eat too," Takeshi said with a smirk, "I bet if we ask nicely or whatever they'll give us something, if they're half as nice as this guy is making them out to be." It would be a big change of pace if these folks actually turned out to be nice, most everyone they met nowadays were real assholes. Hopefully their homes weren't like what Shu was describing his to be, made all of sticks and leaves. If they were that primitive or simple then he wasn't so sure he wanted any of their foods. Glancing over at his brother he raised an eyebrow, reaching out and ruffling Shu's hair with a small laugh. "Yumi thinks you're cute with or without the hair, just because you're little. And who cares what our dad thinks? He's a jerk, I don't even waste energy thinking about him, he's not worth the trouble. Let's just focus on being here and having fun, you know?" Their dad probably thought nothing good of them and that was fine, Takeshi couldn't find it in himself to care. He had family and friends around him now, people whose opinions he valued and those were the ones he would bother concerning himself with. "You're my little brother, and everyone's friend, and a Saiyan-human... Monkey... Kid... Just remember the first two and you'll do fine!" Ah, the musician hadn't considered people following behind them. As he'd looked around on the way here however he'd not noticed anyone following along. Granted he was a simple musician, not someone trained in tracking someone or keeping an eye on them. If someone had indeed tried following and he was the lookout then there may be someone here, but the company in which he was kept didn't make him very worried about that. "You're a strong boy, and your friends seem strong too. Anyone who tries to hurt you won't have an easy time of it! We'll be careful, and the guards will keep you safe in the city, so do not worry Prince." No one would be harmed under His Majesty's roof, and the city was fairly secure for where it was located. Watching as the anchor dropped out and landed on the turf with a thud the musician smiled sympathetically, glancing back over at T'charrl. "I don't feel that way but I understand. Just know you're among friends here, and no one will do you harm. I'm sure the King will do everything in his power to make your stay a nice one, so please do try to enjoy yourself! Also... I'm thinking it might be best if I go ahead a bit, just to see if there are guards coming. I can explain to them who you are and we'll escort you to the palace, if that's okay?" Haku didn't mind the idea of heading up on ahead much either as he was getting bored just sitting around constantly. The city probably wasn't all that far off and they would end up sitting more at the palace, but he'd leap at the chance to move around even if only for a moment. The Princes were preoccupied chatting away between themselves and the musician might want an escort himself, just to be safe. Haku hadn't seen anyone tailing them on their way here but you couldn't be too careful, especially not when you figured soldiers here knew how to hide and stay out of sight. "I'll bring you to the city, if you want. I've got nothing else to do," Haku offered, shrugging as he looked towards the ever-approaching ground. "Unless you want to just go ahead on your own, that's fine too. I don't care either way." What an odd way of asking to tag along, the boy could have just said it outright. The need for an escort when so close to the city really wasn't needed, but if the boy wanted to play the part then far be it from him to deny that. "I suppose someone should come along, just so I have proof that we have visitors," he mused, tapping his chin with his thumb. Not expecting it to happen to soon the musician then gasped when the ship abruptly touched the ground, stumbling and near falling over in the process. It wasn't necessarily a rough landing but an unexpected one, and it showed in his trying to right himself. Smiling sheepishly at being surprised he chuckled, spreading his wings and simply flying off of the airship, hovering just beyond it. "Shall we then?"

Shu had all sorts of thoughts running through his head along with all of the confusion that he was supposed to be getting over from when he was sleeping. Even if he couldn’t remember much from his dream it was still bugging him considerably, probably giving him the negative thoughts. He was woken up in the middle of his dreams so it was probably still lingering, but he didn’t know how to combat it. Rubbing his eyes slowly he let out a sigh, slowly looking up at Takeshi with a little smile he raised his shoulders when Takeshi ruffled his hair. He didn’t know if he should care about what his father thought about him or not, he really didn’t understand Saiyan culture or if the father was supposed to not care about his children but it seemed to be the case. “Ooh, I guess! I just don’t know why he doesn’t like you or me. I don’t know what Saiyans think at all…” He sighed, pulling at his shirt a little. He really wanted to know where his place was in the universe and if it wasn’t with the Saiyans or the Humans then he had no idea where he was supposed to belong. He didn’t belong to his own clan either, what with them all not liking him. Sighing lightly, Shu looked back up to Takeshi, staring at him for a moment before giving a nod, looking like he was having a hard time getting around that statement. "Okay, I'll try! People like me! Your brother and friend of friends…ooh, it can be hard sometimes. Didn’t have to think about it so much before…” T’charrl just needed to completely stop the ship now that it was stabilised and anchored, easy enough compared to how it had to start up and how much he had to concentrate to drive it. He really did wonder what made this thing work and was curious about its possible duration when flying to further away places, whether it could even fly around the world in one go. That would be something, especially when his kind didn’t travel all that far between clans and cities. It was always very difficult to travel and usually involved months of planning in advance, but even then his race wasn’t heavily populating the planet like the Humans seemed to back on Earth. Sighing once it finally landed he turned everything off, his claws going for his crutches immediately so he could lean on them. Turning to the musician he smiled a little, shaking his head. “Can’t say I’m very strong, especially right now…but, uhh, yeah. Uhh, you sure you’ll be alright going to the city yourself from here? They might get suspicious”. Certainly in a position to wonder whether the musician would become a suspect over the appearance of the airship it was just his luck that Haku decided to offer an escort, turning to him before nodding. “Uhh, sure. Yeah. Just don’t be mean to them. We’ll just wait here. Still not really sure how to lock this thing so nobody can take it…”

Takeshi didn't much know how Saiyan culture worked either, even with their time stuck on Kortal, nor did he care to learn. Unless those people made an immediate 180 and stopped being such jerks he was only going to take pride in the name of being a Saiyan, and not the people he was grouped with. There were a few people here and there who were alright, but it was hardly enough for either of them to say the Saiyans were good people. More important than that was trying to fill Shu in on who actually mattered, namely himself and all of their friends. Jerks like their father and his men weren't worth worrying about, and the only thing they would ever be good for were a punching bag. "Just look at it the way I do, it's easier. Our dad is some jerk and he doesn't matter, our mom is probably really nice so we want to meet her. Our friends are kind of our family too, and those are the people we want to be with, you know? Only worry about people who you like and like you, everyone else isn't worth the energy." There was so much more to be spending their time on right now anyways, like going to meet some new king. Now that they were landing it was only a matter of time until they headed off into the city; the King probably had no idea they were coming but hopefully that wasn't a problem. Holding the railing as the ship settled Takeshi smiled, leaping up onto the rails and taking a seat on them. "How about we stay here with T'charrl? We'll go into the city with him, since it looks like those two are heading off," he said to Shu, nodding over to Haku and the musician. Haku had nothing else to do, and he was every bit as curious to see what this hidden city would look like. Already this world had way more trees on it than even Earth had, certainly more than Kortal, so everything was a new experience for him. Maybe if he went on ahead with the musician he'd have something to talk about too, maybe actually strike up a conversation with the others for a change. Why T'charrl had to warn him against being mean he didn't know, and it was a little annoying honestly. "I won't be mean, relax, I'm not an idiot," Haku said defensively, marching over to the railing and flying up to meet the alien. "Just stick with it until we get back? Like he said, I doubt anyone's going to know how to fly the thing." If someone did take it then oh well, it wasn't as if they couldn't just fly back. Stealing something that out of place wouldn't be easy either way and no doubt someone was bound to notice if it took off suddenly from the landing zone. Looking over to the musician and giving a small nod Haku waited for him to take the lead, flying off after him promptly as they made their way towards the city. If the guards here ended up being jerks then there wasn't a really good chance he'd behave as T'charrl had warned, but they'd cross that bridge when they got to it.
