I'd say yes, since Canada isn't being played and it's your character but I'm not Grand Arbiter of Canon.

I updated Mihn's map to include country names:

There's a few discrepancies (I left Syria blank and forgot a few tiny nations) but it's mostly all there. Even the colonies.
