T’charrl was sure he’d get the hang of it eventually and take-off was probably the hardest part of the journey, but not trying to think of the actual landing itself. If it was going to be shutting it off and dropping the anchor then everything should be fine, but if the airship required to be stationed on the ground then he was probably going to have some trouble with it. He had no idea whether they were to fly down and keep the ship stationary or actually land the thing while doing the reverse of what he was doing just now. Frowning a little he looked to Katas, not exactly happy to know that it wasn’t weather-proof. “Well, unless you smell a storm coming then maybe don’t remind me of having to do that. I don’t even know what to do if a storm comes”, he frowned, shaking his head, “If a storm comes during this flight, I’m pretty sure the ship is doomed”. With Katas giving him no further instructions he thought it was about time to get it finally flying. Looking to the wings quickly to make sure they were completely even he sighed, moving his claws to the steering and shifting a third arm over his crutch and to the throttle again. Glancing to Haku he frowned at his response, sighing lightly. “’Anymore’? I’m crouching…” he sighed, looking back to the controls, “I’ll call if I need any help, okay? If this airship is the future of my people then the first to pilot it should be a Kaesstrian”. He didn’t want to sound mean but Haku was the one who was throwing his negativity at everyone else just because he wasn’t happy. He should remind himself that they didn’t need to take him along with them, especially after he tried to kill him. Once Haku had gone off he turned his full attention back to the controls, giving the throttle a good push before pulling at the steering, trying to get the airship flying. Luckily for him it was correct as the machine roared into life and finally rose up, alerting T’charrl. He wasn’t used to controlling something this large nevermind one of the new vehicles his race had already gotten their hands on. Swinging the airship around as it rose up he looked to the console to direct him, hoping it was correct in its directions. Looking to the wings quickly to make sure they were alright he soon let out a groan, hoping they were supposed to move like that before he pushed forward, setting it on its way. Shu didn’t want to sleep, that was the only problem. His mind would still go after him in a nasty way and he really didn’t want to have to be screaming on the ship and freaking his friend out. He wanted to be nice and quiet while his friend was driving so that maybe the trip would be nice and gentle. “Ooh, but what if bad things happen…?” he muttered, giving his eyes a quick rub, “Maybe like Nimbus…ooh, but it’s big and flat and not fluffy…” He didn’t know what to do about all of that or whether things would change just because he thought of something else while they were flying. Lowering his head a little he gasped when the airship jerked a little, signalling T’charrl’s take-off. If this was going to be like this every time he was worried about how exactly he might handle this flying stuff. Getting all nervous again he glanced to Takeshi, giving a quick nod, “M-Maybe, maybe…maybe there is water somewhere! Ooh, what if it’s not safe…? Everything’s so scary right now…”
