Alastair felt surprise flood through him and stood there for several more moments after the girl bid him farewell and returned to her job. His blue eyes were staring into space, mind trying to wrap around this new bit of information he had just received. Sebastian bought a dog for Estelle and him? He just couldn’t believe it. He wondered why his older brother had kept this a secret all this time. Could he have been waiting until the twins came of age, like the girl said? Estelle and Alastair’s eighteenth birthday was still another month from then. Still lost in his thoughts he turned and began to slowly make his way down the street towards his workplace, filing this information away to tell his twin later.
