Robin took the room in with one sweep. He'd never been in it Jube's room and he felt like he should be there. It was like an intrusion, but at the same time he needed to be.
"Kes is okay," he told Jube. "She's in bed and she's not allowed to leave the house, so she told me I should come and see you to let you know."
He paused, then explained the story he'd made Pepper and his friends agree.
"One word from them about what happened, and they know there will be a serious issue," he said. "So now I want the same from you. You are to stick to he story...."
He'd got to the part he hadn't planned. What did he do?
