Hiiii~~!! K, so i have like four charries in mind.^^ One is a cute, naive and lost ice magicks faerie banished from her peoples. Has a pet flying fishy-like thing! Another is a proud pure-blodded earth magicks elf seeking to unlock the secrets of her ancestral weapon. Rides a giant monster cat! Another is a friendly but mouthy, happy, robin hood-like shadow magicks mixed blood human thief prankster type! Another is a happy, silly, sorta pervie inventor Mixed blooded Orc serving as a cook on a pirate (air)ship! I reeeeally wanted to do a werewolf too but! Like full moons and infecting peeps would be problematic to join groups right? xDDD Soooooooooo... like anyone else wanna' give some ideas as to what they're gunna play? ;D Thinking I'mma start off with two then see how story goes to fit them allllll in!!^-^!! Urms. Maybe. But! Dun thinks I'mma make any of them bad guys, 'cept like just maybe the pirate or Elf to begin with. Those two seem most likely to be baddies to start with before joining forces to fight other baddies on our adventures right? RIGHT!!! ;D

I think I'll have a female character, possibly a cat-like character...I'm fiddling around with the idea. Otherwise, I'd still like her to be a serious (secretly fun-loving) ranger/bounty-hunter type. Is it okay if I have two characters? I have so many ideas, I just can't seem to decide! xD

Name: Supremi Arkkenruld Aemijisti Rekana-Volon Race: Artidian (Satyr-Elf) Appearance: A Hibrid Artidian, polished black hooves on the legs of satyr with combed, black horse hair. He wears the traditional loose shirt-robe on his fair chest, a perfect white to match his legs. It is a shame Artidians do not produce sexually. His long, pitch black hair flows to his heart's length in perfect lines. Ears pointed at the perfect angle signify his highborn role of leader. His nails are crystal clear, and his eyes blue and piercing. He wears a brown-leather satchel across his shoulder, with a gold button. Other than that, he keeps a cutlass and revolver on his leather and gold-buckle belt. He sports a goatee. Personality: Somewhat brash and arrogant, but he makes up for it in experience and noble graces. Years in the artisan aristocracy have thought him well of ruling a city-state, and now he uses it to dominate the courts. He is a boldest strategic military commander, and one of the most intelligent people in his domain at a young age. Backstory: Rekana grew up in the city state of Crythim in the noble family. He was trained in the aristocratic arts, including language, science, history, arcana, swordplay, dueling, arithmetic and the performing arts. He blossomed in these intellectual pursuits, and was the leader of the Crythim Enlightenment. He faced his greatest challenge when marauding Itauri (Minotaurs) invaded his city state, killing of his kin. He swore vengeance, and vowed to place the head of the Chieftain that oversaw the execution on a metal pike and freeze it in the arcane for display. He did not kill the chieftain, but he lead the resistance to reclaim Crythim. He revolutionary work saved him the accusation of being too young, but in reality it may be partially true. regardless, he is here now, so Crythim mine as well make the best of it. Strengths: Noble Mannerisms–Skilled in flaterry, persuasion, and even deception. He can usually get what he wants from most non-hostiles. Skilled Dueler–Masterful at dueling with both guns and cutlasses, he has the agility of a panther and the bite of a lion. Alchemical Artisan–He is good at potion-making, and has constructed one or two bombs. He can tend to flesh wounds and apply good ointments. Intellegent–He is overall a very astute and knowledgable person, and is easily capable of learning. Weaknesses Young–The pressure of ruling and acting as military commander of a city state is very grueling, especially for a young prince. Arrogant–He is reluctant to listen to advice, preferring to try, test, and note-take regardless of the risk or situation. Greedy–With Crythim in ruins, gold solves many things. Gold buys happiness. Fuck the jets. What do they know about money? Micromanager–He likes to control everything in the military, and has a habit of ignoring his generals. Even if he is not an expert, he considers himself one if he read the book. Fighting Style Rekana has trained for many years to seamlessly alternate between pistol and cutlass, choosing the better one for the situation. He prefers agility to strength, and uses the immense power in his legs to make unbelievable jumps. He is known to jump constantly, remaining in motion, whenever there is a gunfight. in melee, he likes to jump behind the target to backstab. When dealing with a mage, he uses a jump-hot alchemical bomb of his own design to neutralize most magics. Through it all, he keep his commander's hat on. Equipment Jamsnuk Pistol Class XIII–An arcane-crafted wood revolver with gold plating on the trigger and barrel. Serpents are engraved on either side of the barrel, and the arcane wood pours he energy from Rekana's mana reserve to craft the 'bullet'. Arcanika Cutlass–A gold hilt and handle with golden cords strung around it, and a curved silvered blade. Mana also flows through this weapon, adding potency to the attack. Lydwev Belt–A brown-leather belt with a gold buckle and dragon embroidery. 3 satchel pockets with coin and other pocket goods are attached, as well as holdings for his pistol and cutlass. Lydwev Satchel of Alchemical Goods–A brown-leather satchel with a single golden button, decorated with dragon embroidery on the leather and engravings on the button. Various potions and bombs are kept inside the satchel, and can be reached easily. Teriwev Ribez–A loose, white silky shirt with exactly 13 gold buttons along the side. He keeps the top button undone. Tricorner Cap–A admiral's hat, exactly three corners made of black leather and a single crimson plume. Few know, but it is actually attached to his head through magic to keep it from falling off in battle. Enemies: Singularly, the Itauri clan that killed his family. He is wise enough not to hate much else. Allies: The city-state of Crythim. He is too young to make any more. Magic: Arcane energies flow through his equipment and person, aiding him in many tasks. He is skill in alchemy, but he does not use very much direct magic other than stable ones implanted by various mages at his command.

Of course you can have two characters. It's more fun that way and we have more assets for the RP. Also, i like your character idea. Why didn't i think of a bounty hunter?

Either a description or a picture is fine. I tend to prefer a description in my characters but that's just me.

Lotta questions this time around, Bunnita. Lemme see here... I haven't got a plotline but for the beginning, takes place in Heidif (the mountain region) in Vecafan which is one of those cities that is constantly being opressed and has a dictator (played hopefully by one of you wonderfuls!) The opener, is an execution of an innocent person (what a lovely beginning!) and it's a public execution with a crowd of people. Lets assume that two thirds of them are bad guys or neutral and one third is the good guys. Add one good guy who does something heroic (and by heroic, i mean stupid) and you have a riot on your hands. I think i might cap this off at a max of nine or ten peeps. Y'all should put your characters up here since i don't have an OOC thread yet. (Also, i'm proabbly going to go back and redo my own character) Depending on stuff, the actual thread should start soon. At least in the next couple of days. I have five or six seperate projects ongoing on top of school and extra curriculars. Point is, i may or may not be able to get to this straight away.

I'm almost done with my two main characters, but then I thought a little, and now, I'm curious as to how our NPC's will work out. Maybe I should narrow down that question for you, as I realize that's kinda broad now that it's written out... Um... Okay, would we be in control of our own NPC's during certain points in-game, or would we kinda like, donate them to you to use whenever you saw fit in the story? Just putting it out there, I mean I know that NPC's are NON-Player-Characters and all that funstuff, but sometimes it can be switched up in certain types of rp's. Just curious. Another, kinda trivial question, is what kinda of beasts would be living in our world?

Oooooohhh... k this helps sooooooooooooo much. I decided on muh charries^^ @Monster K so for the NPCs I'mma setup, I'm okay with anybody using them, as long as they dun makes them betrayers... unless that's agreed upon. LIke on this other site, we could use each others NPCs but it was setups just like charrie deaths: we had to have a brief discussion beforehands! So like mebbe when we hit OOC we could clearly define who and wut are NPCs? K so @Aries this is what the bunny's thinking for muh free-roam plottage... so like muh main charries will be the Thief-type charrie and the Faerie. The Thief is a rebel and the Faerie is a bar owner. The Thief works with the Faerie to hide exiles, wanted, other rebels, weapons? stuffs like that below the bar. The place really is a divebar that is enforced by a werewolf pack(gang) led by a oooooooooooooold Female Alpha that oversees other extra curriculare activities (the bar is also a brothel... shhhh...xDDD). But all in all they want to be free to maintain their lifestyle and really... who wantrs to lose their head? xDDD Soooooo... like... is that okay for establishing like a safe haven type place? Like the Female Alpha will more of an NPC. Also muh Orc charrie can be a contact on the coast for smuggling type things too for later on. And like thinking that muh proud elf is a wandering warrior type for waaaaay later... cuz yush, she's a bit O-pow'd :3 So like yush... ideas!! Cuz Bunny-Brain working! MEE! Lurvs go with the flow type RPs~~<3!!

NPC's would be characters that everyone can control but have have to stay consistent between people so no major personality things that others can't keep up with like a Jekyll-Hyde scenario. You should be able to specify whether you are ok with someone else using an NPC you made and of course it's always polite to ask first beforehand. Magical beasts? Hmmmm... Elves Orcs Centaurs Minotaurs Dragons (good and bad) Fae folk(human sized) Pixies (the little kind like tinkerbell) Imps Sorcerers/witches/mages Trolls Woodblights (Evil trees) Nymphs Naiads Mermaids probably lots more that I forgot to mention. Use at your leisure.

Perhaps I am on a diplomatic journey to the city, and am abhorred by what I see. That would probably be the most practical, especially being I at least have some armies.

Qun (Cue-n)
The Qun are an all-female race, full of talented and vicious warriors and strategists. They are feared for their style of combat, and well known by the horns on their head. This race is extremely tall in stature, the average height of a Qun is 6'3 foot. They can mate with other species, which is recommended for the better outcome in offspring, as the genetic material from the "father species" is gained and added to their own. They are advanced with their technology, due to their mix in blood and DNA they are able to adjust to certain environments easier than most species. Eye color ranges from deep red to violet, orange, yellow or a (rare) green.
APPEARANCE:
Vinali is a statuesque giant, standing proudly at 6'7. Her face is chiseled, her eyes a deep red, similar to that of her mother's. She wears a red colored paint on her skin, marking her facial features with elegant strokes, and has red accented gear to go with her paint. She is incredibly fit, and harbors a few scars to show of her many battles.
PERSONALITY:
Intellectual, stoic and selfless, Vinali has been raised to be one of the next Qun Matriarch's. Though she is calm and laid back for the most part, her strong-will can and will get in the way at any time. Her mannerism is structured around her everyday lifestyle, which in her line of work, has hardened her.
"Throw me to the wolves, and I shall return leading the pack."
BACKSTORY:
Born to the Matriarch Ala, and a human priestess, Vin is regarded highly among her Qun sisters, and is a representative of her race. Her role in the society, as open as it is, was to round up any bandits or theives on the lose. Anyone that couldn't be brought down by the best warrior, or tracked by the best assassin, she was sent in. (More will be revealed within the story)
SKILLS/STRENGTHS:
  • Physically strong, a naturally born leader.
  • Skilled in hand to hand combat, and with two-handed weaponry.
  • Highly intimidating, which she uses to her advantage in conversation.
  • Next in line to the Qun Matriarchy, has a small force of Qun warriors to send out at her disposal, though they do not travel along with her.
  • Skilled in tracking, due to her history as a bounty hunter.
  • She is very perceptive, often able to guess the hidden desires or truths one may be hiding from her. Unless they are talented liars, she can often pick up on subtle cues about them.
WEAKNESSES:
  • She represents all of the Qun, no matter where she goes or whatever the company, she must always show her race in a positive light - lest there be repercussions.
  • She is socially awkward, not entirely familiar with jokes and lighthearted conversations. Qun are naturally direct species.
  • She normally says what is on her mind, as honesty is something she is familiar with, despite the consequences.
  • She is not built for stealth, whatsoever. Imagine an elephant trying to walk on eggshells without them cracking...now picture that elephant drunk. That's what a Qun would look like attempting any kind of stealth.
FIGHTING STYLE:
Vin is a brute force of raw nature in battle, her strength is nearly unmatched. Her broadsword is always the go-to weapon, but her fists are equally as devastating. If you'd count it, she also flung an empty wine bottle towards a Minotaur once...So she can use her environment to her advantage, mostly by throwing nearest objects, preferably something heavy and clunky, at opponents.
SPECIAL ITEMS:
  • The Qun War Horn, which she wears around her neck. It can be used as a locator, or as an announcement of battle.
  • Her broadsword, forged out of tough steel and made for her hands.
  • Large and deadly horns?
ENEMIES:
She isn't very popular with thieves, or the like. Mostly because she's locked up half of their friends and allies. The underground lifestyle just doesn't seem to agree with her.
ALLIES:
She has a small task force of Qun warriors gifted to her by her mother. Along with that, her influential standing has allowed her some leniency with the diplomats or higher ranking of other species, despite her awkward social stance.
MAGIC:
Though she has the ability to learn magic, she does not have any powers yet.
