In response, Penelope extended her right hand and made a sphere of water about the size of a baseball. "It's a lot harder than I make it look. I can also hypnotize boys, though I've never actually had occasion to use that power." She let the spell dissipate, and the water retreated back into nonexistence. "Mind if I ask you the same question?"
