Annie nodded curtly and was gone to do her work. She raced down the street as fast as she could now, pushing the wolf to a sprint. The gap narrowed after two more turns in the street and then Seren was there. 

The Error saw the other Magical Girl first, of course, and reared back in a cry of fury. With each beat of its wings, a shower of sharp, deadly feathers rained down on Seren. Annie did not hesitate, she pulled back her bow and let loose three arrows at once.
