Devika froze up at Nick hugged her. She didn't want him that close, not with so much emotion around. But she knew better than to move. She didn't want him to think that there was something wrong about him. That'd be a lot worse. She shut her eyes and let him rest on her, and tried to keep her emotional blocks strong. "It's okay, Nick." Her voice probably sounded quite strange. "You didn't do anything wrong."
