Depends on how many posts. It could get rather messy with several pages that need to be refereed to for information.

Another option is like a report, the GM could flag a thread for a mod to evaluate. That way if ownership could be transfer it may be possible. It just seems a bit selfish when things have been going on for a while and a good community is generated that because of one person the whole project has to be disbanded.
