Kijani shook her head slightly, her eyes empty. "I can't do anything for you, Anthony. And I'm invisible to people like you unless I can do something. I can't do anything. I'm... I'm [i]not[/i] anything." She shut her eyes, tears starting to slide down her face. "There's nothing left."

She'd seen Phoebe wander away, but noticed that she was on the way back. "You have family. And you've got at least one friend. I'll be here, too." She smiled broadly, reaching out to briefly muss his hair before pulling back. "Fear doesn't make you weak, Nick. Fear makes you human."
